I really like Avon's MAGIX face perfector. I was slightly skeptical at first but since Avon has a 100% satisfaction guarantee I figured I'd give it a try. It goes on sheer and you really only need to use a little bit. I generally apply it only to my oily areas, but you can apply it all over your face alone or under makeup. I use it as a face primer over my moisturizer and under foundation or powder. Sometimes the oil will separate and you have to shake & squeeze the tube to re-mix it but it's not a huge issue.

I got this as part of a combo sale thing, and am glad that I didn't pay full price for this product. It isn't that I hated the product but, it isn't really worth the $14.99 and it sort of has a funny smell.

This primer makes a lot of claims, but doesn't fully live up to them. It made my skin feel softer, and it did help with foundation application in my dry spots, so that is a benefit. I don't think that it did much to minimize the look of my pores, but it did help in stopping my foundation from making my pores look deeper.

I liked that this product has spf (always a bonus) and that I could wear it under a light powder on lazy days and have an alright look, but overall I wouldn't recommend this unless it was on sale and you just wanted to try it.

it smells horrible and doesn't even work. It made my face oily and it it clumped up and was hard to blend . Don't even waste your money on this.

I had heard really great things about this product but I have to say I am not blown away. I really like the fact that it is SPF 20, and I also like the fact that it is a cream and not a gel (like the Smashbox primer).

I did not notice a significant difference in the longevity of my make up when I wore this product. In fact, I found that applying certain products was easier with Magix as a base (cream based products such as cream blush or concealers) however the ability of these same products to stay put was diminished by the primer. I found that my cream blush all but disappeared throughout the day, whereas without the primer it lasts all day.

Also some people have mentioned that their skin looked flawless when applying the primer alone but I did not find this at all. My skin looks more or less the same when I wear this primer alone (without any foundation). A minor complaint about using it alone is that my skin has a weird texture – I cannot really describe it except to say that it feels sort of like products that go from cream to powder feelings. Your skin feels soft, but it FEELS like you are wearing a product to make it so.

I do enjoy using it however with some cream blush (for ease of application) with a little bronzer swept on top. I find that applying a little powder to set over the cream products does help them stay in place.

Overall this is an adequate product but it is far from being an essential in my make-up routine and I doubt I will feel the NEED to replace it when my current bottle runs out.

I love Avon products and was excited when I found this product. It is a great product and does exactly what it should. The problem I had with it is that it clogged up my pores. I do believe it was because of my skin being oily and already prone to breakouts. It's definitely worth trying if your skin is not easily irritated.

If You Use This Product Buy It's Self, You Face Feels Amazing... So Soft... But, I Have Found That You Have To Chose Wisely What You Put Of Top Of The Face Perfector... My Cover Up Gets Really Clumpy & Wont Go On Smoothly. 3/5 stars

Before this, I had never bought a primer before. I had received samples of high-end brands, but always thought that the price was too high to splurge for some. So I have lived without it. One day, I received this product for free, and tried it on my face... it was magical. This does exactly what it's name says. It perfects your face. It makes you look flawless, it's a matte formula which lasts all day, and it can be worn alone or under makeup. I wear this alone in the summer when I don't feel like wearing makeup, but it works well under my makeup to keep the shine away. It is also VERY smooth, I love feeling my face after applying this. It's such a great formula. Hey, it also has SPF 20, which is a bonus!

Honestly, if you don't mind paying around $14 (and that's only when it's not on sale), you have to get this primer. I really don't think you'll be disappointed. I know I wasn't.
