Honestly, I purchased this mostly as a curiosity and gimmick. I thought the brush was novel and interesting, but didn't expect anything mind-blowing. I would have been quite pleased with a decent, average mascara.

This mascara completely blew my preconceptions out of the water. The brush is definitely odd, and takes a bit of getting used to. However, once you get the hang of it the results are incredible. It lengthens and adds volume to the point where someone asked if I was wearing fake lashes. (Fair disclaimer though, my lashes are relatively long and thick to begin with, but I'm certain even shorter/thinner lashes would benefit massively from this product).

This is my new favourite mascara, and I probably own every single mascara sold in your typical drug store. I LOVE the applicator, I feel like it helps me get better coverage than a wand. I find it's less clumpy and only requires multiple layers if you want volume as well as length.

The brush for this mascara is completely different than anything else I've seen but it doesn't seem to be any more effective than any other brush I've ever tried. It's not horrible there's just nothing special about it either.

I found the mascara itself heavy, and I also foun dthe brush hard to use and awkward to hold. I didn't find it made my eyelashes look any better than any other mascaras that I've used. Would not buy again.

At $12.00 for a small little container, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Not only does it smudge badly, it clumps as well.

I tried this product with an open mind.. but as the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." I mean, really? Who was having problems with the wand application of mascara? The application wasn't right for me because it wasn't what I was used to doing - it felt like writing with the wrong hand. Anyway, the mascara itself stayed wet for a really long time.. so that was kind of annoying. It did cover my eye lashes, but not in any kind of revolutionary way. Actually, it didn't do as well as the mascara I normally use. I also felt like I was going to break the applicator every time I pulled it out. My last reason for why you should forget this product is because there's not really a lot of mascara! The packaging is very small, and for $10.00 you can get about 25% more mascara with Covergirl. Don't be a sucker for cute packaging.

When I first laid eyes on this mascara, I was a little bit scared: it's kinda creepy looking. But once you get past that, it actually is quite a clever little thing.

A very large bristle surface area means that it can coat more lashes and really get to the root of them. And I did not get any clumping at all. (It also dries super-quickly and doesn't flake or smudge.)

I will say that I did have to get used to applying this product to my lashes. At first, I couldn't gauge the distance from brush to lash and got quite a bit on my lids, but now I am an expert.
