This lipstick is semi-matte, it has no sparkle or glitter but it does have a very slight gloss finish to it. I find that the longer I wear this lipstick, the more matte it becomes. It starts off having a little bit of shine but as it dries or is worn throughout the day it loses that shine. It really stays put and feels wonderful on the lips. It might be a little more drying than a glossy type lipstick but its nothing to worry about. The color 'Mauviest' is absolutely stunning! Its a pinky mauve color and is gorgeous for spring & summer. I usually wear this with minimal makeup. I'll apply foundation, concealer, bronzer and this lipstick and its such a perfect, simple look. The color of the lipstick is beautiful on so many skin tones!
