I liked it

I was able to try this Axe pomade and really enjoyed the smell. This product may be better for shaping edges/ends rather than holding a head full of curls like I usually do with my gel. I did still apply it to my hair for some added hold and great, refreshing smell. I would not replace my gel with this product though. #freeproduct

I would not buy this again

After having styled my hair with the axe shine pomade I found that the consistency is too sticky for my liking. Nonetheless the product has great hold, high shine and a fresh scent. The product container is sleek and looks great. This product is ideal for short to mid length hair.

Does what it says

This pomade works great. It does exactly what it says on the label and provides a very clean and slick look to your hair. It is also not too overly oily like some other pomades that I have used in the past. I would definitely recommend this product to others and will be likely to buy this product again.

Shine and hold

AXE Shine Pomade was not over scent and the shine does not look oily. I enjoy using it daily when I needed the clean shine look. Good stuff and will purchase again.

Good pomade

This pomade worked great. It held up through the work day without any issue. It's a high shine product, which I don't normally use, but I liked it. Smelled great, didn't need to use a lot to get the hold I wanted. Easy to use and rub into my hair.

Great hold

This product is pretty good. I love the fact that this product holds the hairs shape in the longest days, even if I run my hands through my hair throughout the day. it allows me to have peace of mind that my hair is not going to change the way i originally styled it.

Glistening shine but outshined by Classic Pomade

I received this and the classic pomade product for free.

First impressions is the size the container. I go through hair product fairly regularly and I feel like the size could have been bigger so that it could last longer. The container itself is sturdy and the black colour background does give an aesthetic pleasing look.

Opening the container and I was greeted with a very pleasant aftershave like smell. I would recommend, not using too much as your hair could end up smelling like aftershave.

The pomade itself is transparent and with some specks of yellow particles. This to me is great because it means no more clumps of white pomade (typically when I use other hair styling pomade) on my hair. On application, the styling product left a lustrous shine without hardening my hair. Axe got their medium hold formula just right as it provides a good styling structure but your hair feels light and natural to touch.

That being said, I do think the shine feels a bit too much for this product. I personally think the classic pomade absolutely gets it in terms of shine (check my review for Classic Pomade).

Overall a solid pomade if you like shiny hair but if you want a more natural shine product that has everything that Shine pomade has you should go for Classic Pomade

Nice Hairstyling

I have been using Axe shine pomade and I like it. I only need a finger tip amount of the pomade to style my hair. It holds my hair looking great all day. This pomade has a nice texture and it is easy to style my hair. It has a fresh, pleasant and great scent. #freeproduct

Lots of shine!

This shine pomade gave me a little to much shine for my liking, with a light hair colour it gave to much shine but the hold was exactly what i was looking for.
