I started using this product in 2006 when I could no longer purchase my usual favorite lengthening mascara because the company discontinued it. I was in a hurry and the dollar store was right at my fingertips. I took a chance and never regretted it. This product is AMAZING! The results I got from a $1.00 mascara were beyond my widest expectations. I became addicted! Unfortunately, after purchasing it maybe twice, I can no longer find it. I am traumatized, to say the least. However, if you can find this in your area, I beg you to try it. You will not be disappointed. If you find that you are disappointed, well, you only lost $1.00!

I know what you are thinking, why would I buy mascara at the dollar store?! But really I am obsessed with mascara and will try any kind once (twice if I forget!). And really it isn't bad! It works just as well as most average priced mascaras. This one also has a handy mirror for when you are in a rush and have to apply make up en route. We all know half the magic is in the wand, so if I wanted I could use a better wand, but I have to say that for $1 this product was pretty good. It comes off easily with soap and water, doesn't flake off or smudge or irritate my eyes. Not that you want to sleep in it (I tested this too, and looked like a raccoon...), and two applications are required, but that is normal. So if you are feeling a pinch in the pocketbook, here is a way to save and not feel guilty for looking great!
