Just my opinion, but when I see a parent using one of these in public I just cringe. I feel they are totally not necessary and ridiculous. If a parent can't keep an eye on their child without the use of one of these contraptions it is pretty sad indeed.

I have actually seen mommies keeping babies in tow with these. I think they are totally disgusting and uncalled for.Just because the child is walking I guess it's fine to tie them up? No, there's so many other ways to keep your child safe and close to you without this one. If you feel compelled to use a leash, GET A DOG
