not a fan of the carrier I found it difficult to get my son in and out I have recently switched to a wrap style carrier and prefer it as it takes little effort and my son seems more comfortable in it
I got it as gift for my son, but I did not like it, and my neither, he was uncomfortable after a while, did not give him good support for his legs, I also sis some research and find out that design is not good for baby's legs.
At first i loved it but my baby hated being it so i had to be like i was carrying him until he fell asleep. The make up of it is great as it is easy to put on and take off.
This carrier is "ok" but i would not buy one new, i got mine used which i am thankful for, there is not much support in them so after about 20 minutes my back would ache!
Loved that I could put my baby facing in or out. It did, however, cause shoulder and back pain so couldn't be worn for too long. It is also very expensive, but it can be used from the newborn stage which is a plus
I borrowed one for my first child. It worked great until he was about 6 months old, than he's reaching for everything and pretty much getting in the way.
Went to the ring sling, so he's off to the side and can't reach items in my dominant hand, plus it's great for nursing in. That is a claim on the BabyBjorn I could never figure out. You can't really nurse on the go with it.
The ring sling is the way to go, it is faster to get baby in and out of, versatile - for carrying on the front, side, back and nursing, use as a blanket, sun cover, seat belt in shopping cart, swing, or restaurant seats with damaged buckle, the list can go on. I don't leave home without it - and use all around the house.
I find it very expensive, it didn't work well for me. In the early months I find the baby was not comfortable....when the baby got older, he was a little heavy and not comfortable in it, his feet was not in good position. I think is depends a lot of the baby ....
Not a great carrier. Does not give baby an ergonomic seat and I found that my son got overheated way too quickly. Uncomfortable for both of us. There are much better carriers available for the same price point or mess.
I did not like this carrier and neither did my children. I always felt that their legs were at an awkward angle and seemed to be hanging down uncomfortably rather than wrapping around the parent's waist. It was useful when they were quite small but that was about it!
