found this very helpful to have sometimes strollers aren't an option only part i didn't like was the price, found it to be on the high side.
I borrowed one for my first child. It worked great until he was about 6 months old, than he's reaching for everything and pretty much getting in the way.
Went to the ring sling, so he's off to the side and can't reach items in my dominant hand, plus it's great for nursing in. That is a claim on the BabyBjorn I could never figure out. You can't really nurse on the go with it.
The ring sling is the way to go, it is faster to get baby in and out of, versatile - for carrying on the front, side, back and nursing, use as a blanket, sun cover, seat belt in shopping cart, swing, or restaurant seats with damaged buckle, the list can go on. I don't leave home without it - and use all around the house.
I find it very expensive, it didn't work well for me. In the early months I find the baby was not comfortable....when the baby got older, he was a little heavy and not comfortable in it, his feet was not in good position. I think is depends a lot of the baby ....
Used with my daughter past the age of 1. It's comfortable with easy colour coded snaps that will get you and baby on your way in no time!
Not a great carrier. Does not give baby an ergonomic seat and I found that my son got overheated way too quickly. Uncomfortable for both of us. There are much better carriers available for the same price point or mess.
M y sister used this and it is very comfortable for both mom and baby. strap is comfortable around should shoulder and won't dig into you. very strong so no chance of it tearing, plus it looks so cute.
I did not like this carrier and neither did my children. I always felt that their legs were at an awkward angle and seemed to be hanging down uncomfortably rather than wrapping around the parent's waist. It was useful when they were quite small but that was about it!
Personally I didnt like this carrier. its probably better suitable for smaller babies. Few of my friends are using babybjorn and loves it. Everyone will make a decision based on their needs, situation and baby :) I think you can better invest money in carrier that will last you for awhile.
