Aftertaste hard to get past
The initial flavour of the mandarin is okay, but the aftertaste is not good, and lingers for quite a while. I could not even finish half of this bottle unfortunately. Other flavours may be better, but this one was definitely not great
Disappointed
I received a free sample coupon to try Bai antioxidant drink in exchange for an honest review. I was very hopeful as I love to multi-task like hydrate and get antioxidants! I was sad I could not find the Brasilia blueberry flavour at many local stores so I tried the COSTA RICA CLEMENTINE. This drink boast to have antioxidants, 1g of sugar, no artificial sweetners and vitamin C. I found that it is sweetened with erythritol, which is an artificial sweetner. That taste of my flavour was lacking clementine flavour and tasted like artificial sweetner to me. It did quench my thirst on a hot summer beach day. But it was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. I also would not choose this again despite that health benefits. So disappointing!
Read Your Labels
Got this free to try. I really liked the marketing behind this product. It had all the right words on its label - low-calorie, low sugar, antioxidants. I drank about half the bottle, enjoying the taste. It was a little sweet, but on a hot summer day, it could definitely hit the spot. Then, I noticed on the label, “Caution: Do not consume more than 2 containers daily.” A caution on the label? I had to figure out what I was drinking.
The second listed ingredient on the label was erythritol, third sugars. I’ll let you do your own research on erythritol, but I can say it’s not for me. If you’re looking to ween yourself off some other sweetened drinks, this may be a good substitute for you. I’m happy to continue making my own home brewed water infusions where I know exactly what’s going into them.
Wasn't what I expected flavor wise!
I got this product free from Butterly to review; it was really difficult to find in stores but once I found it I found the retail price for it a little bit higher than expected for a single serve beverage. Packaging was nice, the bottle wasn't made of thing plastic so it didn't crumble when I opened it. Taste was bitter; I didn't enjoy - the tang I expected was a sour, bitter tinge - not satisfying. I also noted the scent was very unpleasant and it left a residue in my mouth. Overall I don't recommend.
Didn’t love the taste
This flavour was not my favourite, I did not like it as much as others that I have tried of this same brand. The price is a little higher then what I would normally gravitate to but they have had some decent sale prices lately.
Underwhelming in taste
I received this BAI drink in the flavor Costa Rica Clementine for free from Butterly. The label of this antioxidant infusion boasts the flavor as "explosive" and a "flavor inferno." In reality, I would describe the flavor as underwhelming and watery. Needless to say, it was a disappointment. I was surprised to see that each bottle contained 65 mg of caffeine. I found that interesting.
Too sugary without any sugar
I didn't like the taste of it. I found that it tasted too much like sugar without having any in it. I wasn't feeling refresh after I drank it. The clementine flavour was ok, but really not impressed by it.
Did not like the taste
I have tried a few from this brand and I am not a fan. I don't know if it's the sweetner they use or what it is, but I find they have an off after taste
