Sun protection is a must - year round!
I really like the ease of application with this product - the spray nozzle never gets stuck and you get even coverage with it. SPF30 is the minimum recommended SPF coverage in Canada. Make sure to reapply every 4-6 hours in moderate sun exposure. The formula is lightweight, not tacky and there is even a variety that ensures sand doesn’t stick. This is a must have for the beach, winter activities where you’re outdoors, hiking, and yes, even tanning. I would recommend rubbing it into your skin so your skin doesn’t look wet
So easy
This is my favourite sunscreen. It’s so convenient, just spray and go. It doesn’t have an u pleasant smell. Fits easily in my purse. I love that you don't need to rub this in.
No rubbing!!
Remember being a kid and your mom/dad practically taking off a layer of your skin rubbing in the sun block? No more! This sun screen is a light dry spray that you don't even notice is on your skin, it's not greasy and lasts long. I am very happy with this sunscreen!
Sunscreen is important
This stuff comes in SPF 15, 30, 60, and 90. The 30 is Water resistant for 60 minutes. Sand eaily brushes off. Doesn't dry skin. Easy Spray container, barely have to whipe. Not strong scented. Sadly when in Wind it doesnt spray where you want it. I use the 60 for my daughter, she gets a nice even Tan and doesnt SunBurn. no irritation.
I wear sunscreen pretty much all year round on my face and my body whenever it’s exposed – otherwise, I burn due to my fair skin being burned severely throughout my lifetime.
I use at least SPF50, so this sunscreen meets my bare minimum SPF preference.
Banana Boat products normally have a noticeable scent, however, when I opened up the bottle and squirted a bit onto my skin, the scent was not really there! So for those who are scent sensitive, this might be a good option for you to try out.
The cream is medium thickness, and only a little bit is required to blend into the skin. I find that it actually applies MUCH easier than other sunscreens with minimal effort. A little bit also goes a long way with this sunscreen.
I wore it last night while canoeing in the river with Husband, as the sun is really bright and warm at 4pm still, and at the end of our ride, he decided it would be fun to tip the boat into the water! When I got out of the water, I felt my skin, and I could feel the sunscreen still on my skin, but it didn’t run off like other sunscreens have a tendency too. I was also able to dry off with a towel, and could still feel some of the sunscreen on my skin, so it’s pretty durable (?) for a sunscreen. Although it was only 20 degrees Celsius outside, I assume it reacts similarly with warmer sweltering weather, but I won’t be able to test that out until we go down South this winter.
Overall, I like the ease of application and durability/longevity of this sunscreen. It makes me feel a lot better about going into the sun feeling protected.
