This is a beautiful cosmitics line. My husband treated me to a make up splurge not long ago as he knows how much i dislike spending anything over 5 dollars on anything for myself when it comes to beauty products. We went to sephora and purchased the bare essentials boxed kit for fair skin. When i got home i just had to try it right away, i was speechless! I have always had my "go to" concealers and foundation powders but this is like nothing i have ever tried before. Bare essentials really hit the nail on the head with this cosmetics line. It is fairly easy to apply once you figure out the procedure and is very much worth the little extra time it takes to apply. You truely feel like you are wearing nothing at all. It is a light weight, refreshing, full coverage concealer that is well worth the extra money. It will last me a long time with the amount i need to use. I will definately purchase this again!

I bought this foundation because I was hoping to find something light for daily wear that would be kind to my skin. I love the idea behind mineral makeup but after trying it, I think it may just not be right for some people.

I have very pale, acne-prone skin and wear foundation to cover up the red spots I get from healing acne. A light coat of this foundation doesn't cover them very well at all, and a coat heavy enough to cover ends up looking too obvious, leaving a kind of chalky cakey appearance.

If you have fairly clear skin, this may work just fine, but if you need heavier coverage, this may not be very effective for you.

BareMinerals is the only type of make up I use. This foundation does an amazing job covering problem areas and at the same time feels nice and light on my face. They have an amazing range of colors to find the perfect match to your skin!

Nice to use. Light. Gives great flawless coverage and has SPF. Works well for my sensitive skin, didn't find any breakouts or anything caused from it. Win win in my books!

I really love this product, Im not a huge make up wearer, and Im lucky enough to have nothing super duper wrong with my skin that I need to cover it a ton...If you are trying to cover up scars/zits etc this isnt the product for you however...although I doubt youd be using just a powder for something serious.

I really love the lid part, it keeps it so when your done you can snap it shut so the little holes dont let out any powder! really awesome for me when Im traveling.

I don't like to wear a lot of make up becuase it always feels really heavy. I love how the powder is light and feels like I am not wearing any make up!

I got a starter kit in light/fair for last holiday season but it was too light for me, and I was disappointed because it didn't do anything for me.
Then I got a sample of a medium beige shade from sephora and unexpectedly it became my go to foundation for the summer. I was quite darker during the summer so it worked.
Recently I got a new jar in yet another shade because summer rays are gone and my face is back to pale - i'm a golden fair. It's a nice texture, goes on well, doesn't cake. I noticed that it looks better as the day goes by, I have fairly dry skin so as the oils come out more, it makes it more radiant looking. And for winter I will most likely be using it as a setting powder for my liquid foundation.

One great improvement are the new inside locking lids they make - twist in place and the product isn't going to spill all over the place.

I have normal skin with an occasional oily t-zone. I've been using this for about 3 weeks and I love it. I put a little on and it looks flawless. If I am going out at night and need a little more coverage I can put more on without having it look like I dipped my face in cake.

Added bonus: the lid has a part that turns and clicks to cover the little holes so when you travel the powder doesn't leak and explode in your lap when you unscrew the top.

I used this and found it to be too heavy of a product for my face. I want coverage but I felt the powder and it showed.Wouldn't buy it again.
