I have use BE for 2 years now. It is amazing that the buffing of the fine powder does what those goopy foundations didn't do for all those years. I use the special coverage brush first and then blend with the buffing brush. I love that it gives a flawless, light non goopy appearance to your skin. It is also great because it has SPF and it doesn't run in the summer when you are sweating- it stays put. The coverage is almost flawless expecially if you have some acne scarring and/or sun damage spots on your face. Love this product.

I recently bought my first peice from this brand, i was at sephora and the girl whom was helping me just couldn't stop raving, she was correct the product does a great job of covering up without feeling heavy, good price too!

I'm only lukewarm about this product. When you first put it on, it looks great. So smooth. But after wearing it a while (and not all that long, either) it begins to look pasty and more like "makeup" than regular makeup. What I want is the natural look, which you almost get with this when it's freshly applied, but it doesn't last, at least in my experience. So while it does work, it's still a ho-hum product in my opinion.

I wanted to love Bare Escentuals, I really did. I have seen the infomercials and it looked like this makeup was exactly what I needed. I had someone put it on me at a cosmetic store. It felt heavy and my face itched. But, even worse than how it felt was how it looked! From a distance, I looked fabulous. But if you were close enough to have a face to face conversation with me, my skin looked terrible. My pores and fine lines were ascentuated rather than minimized. And while I know that this makeup is suppose to have staying power, I had makeup all over my shirt's collar. I suggest you most definitely try this before you buy it!

I have been using bare minerals for 4 years, and loooove it! It actually helps keep my skin clear. Even coverage, smooth texture just fab. And then, the introduced Matte! My life got better! You can improve something wonderful! They even improved the packaging so no more spilling! God bless B.E!

the powder is okay but kind of hardly works becous it okay but its jus not worth it

I recently purchased the Bare Minerals foundation and Mineral Veil SPF 25. Their assortment in skin tones and colors is amazing, and I am sure that there is one that will fit your face perfectly.
I had been using L'Oreals mineral foundation for a couple of years, then switched over to Bobbi Browns foundation and Prescriptive powder. In terms of mineral foundations, Bare Minerals is the way to go. Don't get me wrong about L'Oreal. The drugstore brand t works perfectly fine for the price, but if you want to have an ABSOLUTELY flawless complexion I would spend a bit more money for just that.

It's an overhyped, overpriced MMU. Contains bismuth oxychloride, which many women (myself included) are allergic to - This causes itching, especially when you're warm or sweaty. In my case, it caused severe itching, to the point where I felt like clawing my face off, and cystic acne. The colour match was extremely orange in natural light (my BF thought I had highlighter in my face), and coverage was inconsistent. Save your money and look for a good MMU online - Silk Naturals is my current fave.

My starter kit was given to me as a gift from a friend and once I learned how to use the product correctly, I fell in LOVE!!! I live in Illinois, and everyone knows it can be really humid. This is the best make up to use in the humid summers. It doesn't run, clump or wear off. This product makes my skin look smooth and helps my skin breathe. My only complaint is the price is a little high, but it is well worth it! I think everyone should try Bare Minerals!
