I don't normally like dark chocolate because I am such a sugar fiend, but this chocolate bar was pretty amazing. The peanuts added this wonderful crunch and flavour that really made this chocolate bar much more full bodied. This is the perfect snack if you're looking for just a little bit of sweetness. Dark chocolate fans will be ALL OVER this!

I have to admit that I never considered myself a fan of dark chocolate, but these chocolates have legitimate turned my world upside down. Trying this bar with peanuts and ACTUAL pieces of peanut brittle... Blew. My. Mind.

It's another great combination that I wouldn't typically try, but ended up loving. The dark chocolate lovers in my office loved it too.

I don't typically like chocolate bars that are 100% completely dark chocolate, but I actually liked this! It wasn't bitter like a lot of other brands have been. It has a nice hint of sweetness. I also really liked the packaging of this product. It is bright, colorful, and fun. It captures your attention. I like that this product is high quality. It is very rich in taste. The crunchy peanuts and brittle with the rich chocolate are a perfect combination of textures and flavors.

This was one of my favourite bars of the seven baroness chocolate bars I received as part of Chick Advisor's Review Club. Firstly, I loved the packaging - very cute and colourful. Like the rest of the baroness chocolate bars I received I found that the quality of chocolate was very good. I also loved the flavour - dark chocolate is my favourite kind and this one did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the peanuts and the brittle was delicious.

However, I found the bar very difficult to break into pieces. The bar itself was quite thick and because of the extra layer of chocolate covering the "toppings" (as the company has recently changed their chocolate recipe and now includes the toppings inside the bar instead of on the top), the bar was especially hard to break apart, often crumbling to pieces and being quite messy when trying to break a piece off. I would love for it to be a bit thinner and to have the peanuts and brittle a bit more evenly spaced out among the bar so that each bite had some delicious brittle and peanuts!

Overall though Baroness is a great brand that I will continue to support. Not only do they offer premium quality chocolate but its fair trade, organic, sustainably harvested and made right here in Canada. Love it!

I was one of the lucky people chosen to try the Baroness chocolate bars. I love that the company is fair trade, organic, supports sustainability and takes care of their cows, it definitely makes me feel good about purchasing Baroness bars in the future :) The Submissive Squirrel is far from submissive- it's a punch of flavor! This bar has the darkest chocolate out of the ones I received, but it is still wonderfully smooth and is complimented beautifully by the peanuts and sea salt. I think this one was one of the most unique flavors. A true treat for dark chocolate lovers.

What aspect of Baroness chocolates was particularly appealing to you (e.g. gluten-free, handmade, delicious taste, organic, etc) : Half of my family is Jewish, so its really great to find a Kosher product, I also love the fact that its organic and gluten free for my son, really adore all this product has to offer, wondering if they are NON GMO as well..Would be cool, and could add another stamp to their collection.

How unique did you find the flavours of each premium chocolate bar? I'm not a huge dark chocolate fan, so I only sampled a few pieces and let my boyfriend have the rest. Him being a dark chocolate fan however ADORED this bar. He also loves a nutty tasting chocolate so this was his jam. Couldn't believe how affordable these bars were for the strong taste they endure and the great healthy options they have.

Was your craving and indulgence satisfied after eating Baroness Chocolates? After this one I needed one tiny bite and I was satisfied, quite strong if you arent a dark chocolate person but still very delicious.

How does this chocolate compare to the chocolates you usually purchase? Much better quality, in taste and in what it has to offer. LOVE that its fair trade, hard to find in chocolate surprisingly.

Would you consider buying these chocolates again and/or buy them as a gift for a friend? : Absolutely! Already gave half of each bar to my best friend to share the goodness and shes addicted as well. So happy I found this product and got to sample it for free :)

10/10 chocolates - Definitely recommend

Holy hot damn, what a party in your mouth. I love peanut brittle and I love chocolate and this was quite the magical union of the two! I have to say that you can taste the quality in all of these products, as the chocolate has a creaminess to it that cheaper chocolate doesn't have. Packaging gets 2 thumbs up once again, because its adorable and I love the name of this bar!

I was lucky enough to be chosen by Chick Advisor to sample all 7 delicious Baroness Chocolates. Subversive Squirrel was definitely a rich delicious treat!!! Delicious dark chocolate with crunchy peanuts and brittle. - so good!!!!! I enjoyed mine with red wine and a movie! What a perfect combo!! Great quality chocolate - not bitter at all. Had a rich dark chocolate flavor and the crunchy peanuts and brittle added great texture to the chocolate! Love that this product is Canadian made & organic (No GMOs) & fair trade!! Love the packaging too!!! Beats any other chocolate I have had before - love their ethical approach to business & quality product.

I was one of the lucky people chosen to try the different Baroness chocolate bars for free as part of the Product Review Club offer. I seriously can't choose a favourite. The packaging is really nice, I like the white background, and the description of each bar is cute! All the bars are certified organic, fair-trade and Kosher and they're all also, gluten-free...if only they were calorie free!! The ingredient list contains items I can pronounce and identify. The chocolate is rich, creamy and not overly sweet. Even one or two pieces is totally satisfying because you're eating a high quality chocolate.

If I had to choose, this bar was definitely my favourite (but, really, don't make me choose!!). I am a huge fan of dark chocolate (the darker, the better!). The brittle added some nice sweetness to the bar and the peanuts a bit of saltiness.
