I received a sampling of Baroness chocolates from Chick Advisor. Of the flavours I received, Subversive Squirrel was the one I was most excited about a I love dark chocolate. This bar certainly doesn't disappoint as it's deep, dark chocolate that is just sweet enough and not the least bit bitter. he bar is also home to peanuts- although my bar didn't seem to have many- and peanut brittle, which was kind of like a sponge toffee. The brittle and nuts gave the bar some added texture, but wasn't too crunchy. Overall, this is a great bar for dark chocolate fans and the quality ingredients (fair
trade, organic, and handmade in Canada) make it well worth the price.

I loved this bar from the first bite. I really liked that the peanut and brittle paired well with the dark chocolate.
This bar did look like the outside of the package. I would like liked to see and taste a little bit of the brittle on the top of the bar as well.

This was the first Baroness chocolate bar I tried. I wanted to try the one with the highest amount of dark chocolate first. I found it interesting that it has a mix of both peanuts and peanut brittle. It is more on the crunchy side as far as chocolate goes. And as expected, not too sweet. You can definitely tell that this isn't a regular chocolate and nut bar. Although this one was not my favourite out of all the other baroness chocolates, my sister (who doesn't like things that are too sweet) loved it!

Great canadian product! This particular flavour was my favorite of all, thanks for the amazing filling. Knowing that it is organic and canadian, I would rather buy this chocolate product rather than another one. As they are a bit on the expensive side, I would buy them to treat myself or as a gift.

This chocolate bar has a great taste. However, I found the peanut brittle part a bit thick and hard to bite through. It is a great combination though. I love that it's organic and handmade. I probably wouldn't purchase this flavour again because other Baroness chocolate bars are a little more my taste. I would recommend it though. I received this chocolate for free to sample and review.
