Formula changed this year no scent w/air vent or visor clip

I think the formula changed b/c the ones I purchased last yr are so strong I had to get a visor clip since the air vent clips circulate more fragrance. However, even w/ the visor clip I could smell every time I got in the car (summer & winter). The ones I purchased in 2020 I can’t smell either way its ridicules ...must be why I caught them on a one day sale for 1.95. I tried a variety of scents including mahogany teakwood (which is usually unbearably strong). Still nothing! Should I hold on to them and swap them out when a new batch number drops or just return them now and cut my losses and go back to car trees?? Anyone else have this issue?
