It claims to make my hair feel and look clean between washings as well as add body and texture.

As a darker haired gal, currently a dark purple, the typical dry shampoos always make my hair look like someone dumped flour on my head. The colour of this blends in great and doesn't seem to transfer or wash off.
This stuff isn't a miracle worker, you can't go a week without a shower and expect this to make your hair look freshly washed. It's meant for touch ups and it works great for that. I have very thin and straight hair and it truly did give me a bit of body and reduced the oil/grease in my hair.

It's a little pricier than I like to spend, but I have to keep in mind that one can will last quite a while.

I received the dry shampoo to review from ChickAdvisor. I love how it blended in my dark brown hair without leaving a white residue like other dry shampoos. The mild scent was pleasant and immediately refreshed my hair between washes. I would definitely use it again.

Always wanted to try this stuff.. I'm a cheapie though but wow.. works wonders. I thought it might be too dark for my hair tone but turned out great and I literally tell everyone now to get it.

Batiste has been my favourite dry shampoo for a while now but I had never tried the Dark and Deep Brown version. Having very dark brown hair I found the original showed up a bit white in my hair so I would usually only use it at night. This version though is perfect for use during the day because it doesn't show up in my dark hair. I find it just as effective as the original version but I like that it doesn't make my hair look white or ashy. I also like that you can use this to hide roots or grey hairs as well as to make your hair look fuller. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with dark brown hair who finds most dry shampoos show up white in their hair.

I tried a few different dry shampoos in the past and was super excited to be given a opportunity to try the new Batiste Dry Shampoo in Dar and Deep Brown from the Chick Advisory Product review club.
So the price is good since the bottle of Batiste is a lot larger than my current brand I'm using. I use dry shampoo for volume and also for those days I am in between hair washes (lazy sundays!) I find for both my purposes it worked great. What I loved about the color is I didn't have to work the dry shampoo in (yes I have left the house with white powder in my hair that I missed) Which brought my concern about using dark dry shampoos is will it get everywhere? no, it was good. I didn't find any brown powder on my clothes.
General review, I would absolutely buy this product again and to boot it smells good :)

I have an awful track record with dry shampoos; I can never seem to find the perfect one like some do. I've heard a lot of good things about Batiste's original dry shampoo so I was fairly excited for this sample. The first thing that gets me is smell; if I don't like the smell of a product, I'm less likely to enjoy it. I loved the smell of this dry shampoo. I can't put my finger on what it is exactly but it's a familiar and pleasant scent.
I really like how Batiste incorporated the brown tint into their dry shampoo. My issue with other dry shampoos was always the white residue that would build up on my scalp - luckily, I never had to experience that with this product. I found that it applied nicely and did the trick - it absorbed enough oil to make my hair look and feel much fresher than it did prior to using the product. But over time, I could feel my hair getting heavier and heavier. I feel like maybe I used too much, so I'll have to test that theory again. Other than that, I also found that when I ran my fingers through my hair, some of the dark brown tinted my fingers very slightly. I only noticed this immediately after application, while trying to set my hair, so maybe it has to dry out, but this is definitely something to point out for those who are planning on purchasing/using a product like this - be aware and prepared to have some of that brown residue on your fingers while you're brushing the product in.

Overall, I would say that I was pleased with the product. I'm unsure of whether I'd purchase it again, as I don't frequently use dry shampoos as it is. But after trying, I can definitely say that I would recommend this to a few of my friends who have the same issue with white residue from other dry shampoos, as they would probably love to give this a try.

This product does a decent job at adding volume without making your hair feeling weighed down, however, it did not do a very good job at "cleaning my hair". This dry shampoo did not do much to help absorb the oil on my scalp or even help rid my hair from that dirty, unshowered hair smell. I had pretty high hopes for this products as I heard great things about it, though I was quite disappointed.

On the plus side, I very much enjoyed the fact that this dry shampoo camouflages in with darker coloured hair, unlike the dry shampoos I've used in the past, so this factor definitely gave this product major points!

Conclusively, if you're looking for something to help add volume to your hair, this dry shampoo is for you! If you're looking for additional features such as oil absorption and fragrant scent, I would consider other options.

I've used dry shampoos before and the results were OK. The instructions said to spray at roots, when I did, it didn't leave my hair with a clean feeling. Spraying on my hair, in addition to the roots, had a better effect and left my hair feeling clean.

I really liked this dry shampoo, I thought it did a good job at making my hair look fresh and what I liked best about this one compared to the other Batiste Dry Shampoo's was that it blended nicely into my dark brown hair. The scent was nice, not too overpowering which was great. I would recommend this product to a friend, a good affordable one to try out and I would for sure purchase this product again.

Hey, I love dry shampoo.
I am a lazy gal who does not want to shampoo everyday.
And I love Batiste! I think it might be my Favorited and I have tried a lot.
I actually was so excited about it, that I went into my room and pulled it out for all my aunts and mother and grandmother to see.
You have to try this I said!

I think it makes my hair less greasy for sure, and definitely helps length in-between shampoos.
A little spray, rub in in with your fingers and you are good to go.

Batiste I think you and me are going to be together for a long, long time.
