I don't typically use dry shampoos. I guess I prefer the old-fashioned way of washing my hair, but sometimes, a gal just has to admit she doesn't have the time.
I tried one dry shampoo in the past, and frankly, it did nothing to remove the grease and oil from my hair. I gave up on dry shampoos until I tried the Batiste Dry Shampoo Original Clean & Classic.
The first thing I noticed was its powerful spray. Seriously, you could kill a large spider with the power of that spray! The second thing I noticed was its pleasant smell. It had a hint of baby powder--nothing chemical about that.
Last, I was happy to see (and feel) that it did as advertised, removing additional oils from my hair. My locks felt soft, not stiff, and significantly less oily. At the very least, I could go out in public without looking like a slob. When this bottle runs out, I will definitely be purchasing a larger one in the future.

This was my first time trying Batiste Dry Shampoo, but I'm not new to the dry shampoo world.
I found that this particular product has more pros than cons. The one thing I really like about the dry shampoo is that its scented. It's a nice scent. It smells citrus-y to me. There are a few dry shampoos that I've tried that don't have a pleasant scent to them so this was nice.
The dry shampoo absorbs the oil in your roots really well. You don't need to use much to have your hair looking refreshed again. The only problem with the formula is that it is not invisible. If you have jet black hair, you might find that even after massaging the product into the roots, you still have a veil of white where you had sprayed the product. There are other dry shampoos out there with an invisible formula, so I think it is fair to ask that this brand follow their lead.
I find that it works just as well as other dry shampoos I've used, so it doesn't lack in effectiveness. For this product to become a 5 out of 5 rating from me, it would need to add a few extra scents into their product line for those who aren't a citrus scent fan (forgive me if they do already have other scents), and they need to change their formula to invisible.
I'd only recommend to a friend who has lighter hair (because the formula is not invisible) and that I know enjoys the smell of citrus. I don't think I'll repurchase this product because my hair is a dark red right now.
i got to try this Batiste Dry Shampoo free & I'll probably buy it again. It worked easily, went on nicely, smelled great and made my hair feel fresh, clean & managed to fix up my do for the day. It's a pretty rad product for ladies on the go. Super rad, thanks Chicks.
I was lucky enough to chosen to review the Batiste Dry Shampoo as part of the Review club. I have always been a little reluctant to try dry shampoo but i was pleasantly suprised. I have fine wavy hair and i have to wash it everyday or it looks greasy. After I used this my hair looked almost as fresh as if i had washed it, and it was easy to use. I would buy this again.
This stuff does what its supposed to do. And it does it well. Although, I have dark brown hair and found this sprayed onto my hair very white, and when I brushed it through, it still made my hair look very ashy and washed out. That being said, its still a great product and I would recommend.
Dry shampoo is a great invention for my thin hair type since it allows me to go another day without washing and therefore prevent damage. However the Batiste brand doesn't really take the grease out well enough. It acted more like a hair spray than a dry shampoo. Had to put my hair in a pony tail which is what I would normally do to hide the grease. I wanted to be able to keep it down but couldnt. I wouldn't purchase this product because it didnt do its job on my hair. What I did like was the fact that it didn't give me static like some other dry shampoos Ive tried.

1.How did this product perform based on its advertised benefits? (e.g. effectiveness, fresh scent, oil absorption, etc) I like how it absorbed the oil in my hair to help it stay fresh in between washes. I would have liked to have tried the different scents in comes in (I'm a scent freak, so original is boring to me lol). The down side is how long it lasted. I have very very oily hair so I need to use a lot of it. The package I received lasted me 4-5 applications. So I figure the full size would last 10-15 uses. That's not many uses compared to baby powder that I generally use, which lasts me well over 6 months. I would use this product for traveling because it's more convienent and not messy compared to baby powder. I would recommened this product to friends for sure because I know they would like something to keep hair fresh in-between washes.
I love the idea of having a dry shampoo for in between washings. I am looking forward to purchasing Batiste Dry Shampoo.
I love this dry shampoo! I've tried many dry shampoos in the past, and I don't like most of them...well, really, this is the first one I liked. All the other ones I've tried seem more like hairspray than dry shampoo - all they seem to do is actually make things worse by coating my hair in a clear, sticky substance that makes my hair stiff, and impossible to brush. This dry shampoo is totally different...the spray is white-ish, not clear, which I love, as it actually makes my hair look a tiny bit lighter (and cleaner). It brushes out well, leaving no residue behind (which is good if you have dark hair...I don't, but if you do, you don't want white stuff left behind), and my hair actually looks clean. And it smells good. And I like that it comes in a travel size, for travelling.
This is the first dry shampoo I've used that does what it says it will do! My hair looked clean after, almost like I'd just washed it. I have very long hair, so I just sprayed my roots, because that's where it is dirtiest. I would have liked to spray all my hair, but, with long, thick, hair, that would use up too much spray. But just spraying the roots is fine, and works great. The scent is pleasant, and not to strong, which I like.
This is perfect for days when I don't have time to wash my hair. And the little travel size is perfect for travelling, when things like long, overnight flights prevent me from showering. I won't be travelling again without it.
The price is reasonable, too. I got my sample here on Chickadvisor for free, but, I checked out the prices, and I think they're fair. It's not the cheapest kind, but it's like not some of those super-pricey ones, either. I think the price seems fair, especially considering how amazingly well it works!
I love this dry shampoo over others at the drug store. However, the day after using it, I find my hair tends to feel heavy
