Being a full time student and working a part time job, I don't always have the time to wash my hair. That's where my hero, dry shampoo, comes in!
This was my first dry shampoo I've tried, and the one I liked best (I've tried Dove and Tresemme as well). This one doesn't make my hair feel straw like, isn't hard to blend into my hair, and smells the best (The tropical one smells great too!)
TIP: Try spraying this on right before you sleep; tossing and turning in bed will rub the product in your hair for better results ;D
I have VERY thick, wavy hair that I straighten every day. I usually go about 3 -4 days between washings. Whether I wear my hair down or up, by about the end of the 2nd day, I can start to feel a bit oily. I have tried a number of department store brand dry shampoos - found all of them to smell awful and not do what they profess. I've used every version of Batiste Dry Shampoo - they make my hair smell great and do what they profess to do - to refresh my hair to get another day or two!
I love it! Gets you out of a pinch when you are in a hurry. I recommend this product.
The smell is great and I feel clean and fresh everytime i use it! Sadly, my second day hair still gets greasy by the end of the day. Easy application, preferably at bedtime to absorb sebum .
The smell is great and I feel clean and fresh everytime i use it! Sadly, my second day hair still gets greasy by the end of the day. It works better than the Tresemme one and is pretty good for the price, but if you are willing to pay a little bit more, I would recommend to try a high end version.
Batiste has the best dry shampoo out there! This was the first brand I ever used for dry shampoo, and I made the mistake in choosing a different brand. This one works very well and my hair doesn't feel wet immediately after applying like other brands. This is also perfect in helping tease my hair!
I only recently decided to attempt only washing my hair a few times a week so I thought I would probably need dry shampoo. What I have found is that I don't actually need to use it very often. I think in 6 months I have only had to use it about 6 times. It definitely gives my hair a fresher look. I have very blonde, very fine hair so if it gets oily after a few days of no washing the dry shampoo also seems to make it look fuller.
I love Batiste Dry Shampoo and have been using it for a few years now. Although I think it is very effective to cleaning oil out of hair, I do not use it for this reason. I have fine dry hair and I use it to add volume to my hair. I use it after washing my hair and the next day too. I spray it on my roots, wait a few minutes and then massage it through my hair. This adds instant high volume to my thin hair. Some days I will also us OSIS which is another volumizing powder, but Bastiste works better. I go through about a two cans a month so I wish the price was a little lower, its about ten bucks at Walmart, but it works so well for volume. I have tried the coloured ones but always go back to the original Batiste. I would highly recommend it for fine, limp hair to add volume or for anyone that wants to clean up their second day hair.
Honestly, Batiste Dry Shampoo is the most effective one I've tried. I have tried so many too! I have incredibly long hair that is prone to being greasy even on the day after I wash it. I use dry shampoo to try and extend the days between washes so my hair is healthier. I have had dry shampoos leave my hair looking dried out, GREASIER, fade the colour, leave white powder I can't brush or towel out, or just leave my hair looking gross. I've also had them be completely ineffective or completely the wrong shade. In my mind, Batiste is the original dry shampoo, and the best.
Very easy to use and can easily be purchased from the drugstore. It doesn't make my scalp itch like the other dry shampoos that I've tried and works well even for my black hair. It wasn't highly recommended by my high end salon hair stylist so you know this is the good stuff!
