I like to wash my hair about twice a week at the maximum.... by the 3rd or 4th day it's usually ponytail time. This product was easy to use, blended in well, and while still tacky like most dry shampoos, make it look a bit fresher for a day before I wash my hair that evening. The smell was decent and not offensive....I use it occasionally and would recommend it.
I far prefer the smell of the floral and flirty blush dry shampoo of Batiste's better, but this is a pretty classic dry shampoo. I love that as soon as I use it, the oil is immediately absorbed and my hair doesn't feel oily any longer. It's a little pricier for a drug store brand but not bad at all!
I use this on days I do not wash my hair, I spray it a few inches from my roots and then let it set for a couple of minutes and then brush out. The only thing I find is that if I spray too much my hair ends up looking worse so use sparingly.
This is my fave dry shampoo and the only one I really buy anymore. In one desperate circumstance I even used this two days in a row and wasn't a greese ball (though woudn't recomend doing this often)
I LOVE me some Batiste Dry Shampoo, it's the quickest and most convenient way for me to get soft, clean and fresh smelling hair, without suds & water!
Batiste Dry Shampoo offers me an instant hair-fix by refreshing my greasy, limp and lifeless hair. It's very simple to use, I spray it on, and tie my hair in a ponytail and I am ready to go. Saves me an extra shampoo and my hair color from fading...Great Product! A+
This is my go to dry shampoo, I also love the tropical scent of the Batiste brand. It works really well on those days when you just didn't have enough time to shower, or if you are like me and like to wash your hair only every second day. If you shake up the bottle really well and hold it 6-10 inches from your hair it doesn't leave white patches like some other dry shampoos I've tried. And if it does, I just rub it in a bit and my hair looks fine. The smell of this dry shampoo is very light and clean, which I really like as well. I usually purchase this product from my local Winners for about 7 bucks. Its a bit more expensive than other dry shampoos from places like Walmart or Superstore, but I find it worth the money, compared to say the Dove or Herbal Essences brand of dry shampoos.
I don't have much of an oily scalp usually but there certainly are days in the summer that my scalp gets oily and I need a bit of a refresher, since I dye my hair I don't shampoo it daily. This product does the job, smells good, and is easy to find in stores. I found mine at Winners for a discount and bought the travel size for my gym bag.
Batiste Dry Shampoo Original Clean & Classic is a good alternative to washing your hair on the second day. It is has a light, clean scent that doesn't linger. When sprayed about 6-12 inches away from your roots, it doesn't leave too much of a white cast on your hair. All you need to do is let it sit for a minute and then gently ruffle your hair to spread out the product througout the rest of your hair. I use it on my dark hair and have no issues any unsightly white powder.
On Day 2 hair, I find the dry shampoo helps combat oiliness look on the roots. It does not generally do much of a job at adding texture or volume - at least not to my fine, straight hair.
However I find that on the 3rd day, adding more of the dry shampoo product loses it's effectiveness and I can start feeling the residue from the shampoo weigh down on my hair.
In terms of price I was able to purchase mine from Winners over the Xmas holidays at $6.99 - and that was not a sale price. It still runs a bit more expensive than some of the other drugstore options but leaves less residue than those other options.
