I'm not a regular user of Dry Shampoo and was excited to try it out. I have pretty fine hair but there is a lot of it and it's platinum blonde, so I generally go a few days without shampooing. The Batiste Dry Shampoo worked ok for me. It was easy to use and had a great smell, but I found that it worked well when I had freshly dyed hair and when my roots started to grow in, it didn't work as well on the natural/new hair growth.

I did not like this product but that is not to say it is not good but I think I have the wrong hair type for this. My hair is curly and without washing it there is not much that I can do with it. I can't brush it unless washed and I think that was a big problem. When I put the product on my hair it weighed it down and I lost some of the volume and it actually made my hair look worse. I also found that it left a white residue on my hair. I think this problem would be drastically improved if my hair was straight and I was able to brush it through,

I did like the fact that the product came in a travel size and I did not mind the scent. I found it very fresh.

Full disclosure I received this complementary to review from Chick Advisor! Lately I've been addicted to dry shampoos and have had the pleasure of trying this one among others. This was my first time trying the Batiste brand. After all the hype I was very excited to try it! Pros: smells amazing!!! It does a good job at getting rid of unwanted oil. Cons: the price and it leaves behind a lot of white stuff in your hair! My hair is fairly light, I'm a strawberry blond and it took a long time to work it all in! I don't even think I got it all! It would've been quicker to just wash my hair! Vertick: ill stick with my Amika!

I received the original formula to test but the scent was horrible, the pink bottle is more refreshing. It's also a bit sticky and too powdery white. I have black hair.

I have tried this brand in the past, long before every hair care company started producing their own dry shampoo. I was super excited to get this product hoping that maybe they smoothed out some of the kinks...the kinks being the bright white coating left of my light brown hair. Sadly I was left disappointed. While the product definitely works in the sense that it soaks up the oil from your roots (I use dry shampoo to add volume to my flat hair) this product seems to remain strictly for blondes.

I received this product as a free sample to review. My first impression was that it had a scent that was way too strong. I'm not a fan of fragrances in my hair products. I have dark brown, curly hair and to be honest, the dry shampoo left noticeable residue on my hair. That's always a disappointment. Due to all these negatives and the fact that it did not seem to do much for my hair, I would not recommend it to anyone.

I received this product as a sample to try. I was not greatly impressed with it. It had a very strong scent and left quite a bit of residue in my hair, giving it a grey tone. It worked well as far as making my hair more manageable; but due to the price and the other secondary effects, I likely wouldn't purchase it.

I use dry shampoo pretty regularly so I was totally on board to try Batiste, and unfortunately I was very disappointed. I found that the spray was so concentrated that all it did was leave a white film on my hair, even after brushing through. The can is SUPER loud, like loud enough to hear in another room and wake up the kid loud, and I didn't find that it did much to freshen up my hair other then leaving a nice scent. Still looked like 2 day not washed hair. I'm going to give it to the end of the can before deciding 100% if it's for me, but as of right now... it's not.

This was my first time trying Batiste Dry Shampoo, but I'm not new to the dry shampoo world.

I found that this particular product has more pros than cons. The one thing I really like about the dry shampoo is that its scented. It's a nice scent. It smells citrus-y to me. There are a few dry shampoos that I've tried that don't have a pleasant scent to them so this was nice.

The dry shampoo absorbs the oil in your roots really well. You don't need to use much to have your hair looking refreshed again. The only problem with the formula is that it is not invisible. If you have jet black hair, you might find that even after massaging the product into the roots, you still have a veil of white where you had sprayed the product. There are other dry shampoos out there with an invisible formula, so I think it is fair to ask that this brand follow their lead.

I find that it works just as well as other dry shampoos I've used, so it doesn't lack in effectiveness. For this product to become a 5 out of 5 rating from me, it would need to add a few extra scents into their product line for those who aren't a citrus scent fan (forgive me if they do already have other scents), and they need to change their formula to invisible.

I'd only recommend to a friend who has lighter hair (because the formula is not invisible) and that I know enjoys the smell of citrus. I don't think I'll repurchase this product because my hair is a dark red right now.

This stuff does what its supposed to do. And it does it well. Although, I have dark brown hair and found this sprayed onto my hair very white, and when I brushed it through, it still made my hair look very ashy and washed out. That being said, its still a great product and I would recommend.
