I was given the opportunity to #tryBatiste and #gotitfree. I tried the Beautiful Brunette dry shampoo by Batiste. It was ok.

As a mother of very young twin baby boys I've quickly learned that showers are now a luxury, not a right. Unfortunately I usually have to go a couple of days without a shower so if I can find some good hacks to extend the life of my hair I'm down to give it a whirl.
Unfortunately this dry shampoo isn't for me. I have natural brown hair so the fact that this dry shampoo has a touch of colour in it didn't really benefit me. It also somehow still managed to dry and look a bit powdery in my roots despite using only a little bit and after massaging the dry shampoo into my hair as recommended on the bottle.

The scent isn't very nice but it dissipates fairly quickly.
Some people love dry shampoo and rely on it and if you're one of those people this is worth a try for you. Unfortunately for me, my hair has a natural shine to it and this dry shampoo dulls that making it look worse than it does when it's been 2 days without a wash.

I love this dry shampoo! It is my new fave and my new go-to for dry shampoo. I love the scent and appreciate that it doesn't just have that typical hairspray scent. Even better than the scent, is the colour. I love that I can give a quick spray and comb through in the morning and don't have to be paranoid there's a huge white patch which can happen from other kinds of dry shampoo. It's a great option for the day after a hair wash. I plan to repurchase this product again in the future and for roughly $10, you really can't go wrong. I would recommend it to any brunette who is one and looking for a reliable dry shampoo. I would like to try the other scents too, but will find it tough to deviate from this one. This product worked well - it freshened my hair between washes and made it easier to style my hair. I was excited to try this because of the hint of colour, but it's really just that - a hint. I have dark brown hair and the colour of the dry shampoo was a bit lighter than my hair colour, so I had to rub it in. Once I rubbed it in, the lighter streaks disappeared so ultimately, I had a good experience with this product - it didn't turn my hair ashy like some of the regular white dry shampoos do! This product also has a bit of a fragrance; I'm sensitive to smells, but I found this one to be pleasant, so no complaints here. All in all, I would definitely recommend Batiste Dry Shampoo PLUS Beautiful Brunette to my fellow brunettes, and I'll most likely be re-purchasing this in the future!

I was very excited to try this product, as I have heard many people RAVE about it. This product worked well. It removed some oils from my hair and helped it to style well the next day. It has a fragrance to it, which I wasn't used to at first, but I grew to like it over a week or so. You could definitely tell that there was a hint of brown in the formula to make it "brunette", this didn't help me much because the tint was much lighter than my hair colour at my roots, but with rubbing it in the lighter/white spots went away. I would buy this again, especially since this bottle, I #gotitfree.

Got this item free for Chickadvisor and absolutely love it ...previously I had only used the scented products but it is great that this blends right in with my dark brown hair, leaving it still shiny but not greasy. Will get so much more days out of my straightened hair now which helps when I spend an hour blow drying, straightened and damaging my hair for the look

I received this for free as part of the Chick Advisor Review Club and have been using it since. It's great to use in between washes to freshen up the hair and absorb some of the greasy oil build up. The darker brunette colour is great for my dark (almost black) hair without worrying about it leaving an obvious white residue.

I just received my Batiste Dry Shampoo in the mail. I guess there was a bit of a delay. I was so excited to receive it in the mail , and even more excited to try it out! Given it had been 2 days since I last washed my hair I thought it would be an awesome time to give it a chance.

I was so excited to hear they had a new version with a hint of colour for darker hair. So of course , I got the "Beautiful Brunnette" type. I used as per instructions and I must say, I love it. It's exactly like the Batiste I used to use on a regular basis. As a light brunette, the colour suited my own well. And it helped avoid the white powdery colour that traditional dry shampoos left. I feel compelled to add that it did , non the less, leave my hair a shade lighter. I would imagine it may look "mousy" on hair that is true brunette or a darker brunette. It worked well for me though. Although, I'm not sure I'd trust it on the back of my head, without checking it with a mirror of course.

It performs well and makes my hair feel fresh in a pinch. Also , the scent is very refreshing as well. So all in all, a great product for my hair type.

I'm not someone who likes to have dirty hair, I much prefer to wash it. But in a pinch, dry shampoo is a hair saver. This one is as good as any others I've tried and the price isn't too bad.

The smell isn't any different than dry shampoo I've used. When I first sprayed it on my roots, I was expecting the same white residue that makes my hair look grey but I was pleasantly surprised. With the tiny of brown, i was able to blend easily without it being too obvious. It was still a bit light on my dark brown hair. I'd buy this again when on sale

I will have to start by saying I already use Batiste dry shampoo and was always happy with the. The only thing I did not love was the white patches it would leave in my hair. I would massage it in and it would eventually go away but I will not lie I have tried to leave the house with white patches and not realize it.

I thought the best way to leave my review would show you the side by side comparison between the regular dry shampoo and the Beautiful Brunette. As you can see in the photos (with my very greasy hair) the side by side is night and day. The Beautiful Brunette was not an exact match but it was pretty darn close. It also has a nice fragrance which the classic one does not. Overall I am super impressed and will be using the Beautiful Brunette from now on.
