After receiving this in the mail today and using it for the first time, Batiste's dry shampoo is a great quick fix for those days where you just don't have time to wash your hair.

I got this product for free through the product review club but I haven't had as much time to test as I'd normally like to, but I will base this off of my experience with this product today. I used this product on my hair, which is quite thick and dark and has not been washed for two days. I found that it left my hair smelling fresh and feeling very soft. I noticed right away, however, that despite being designed for brunettes, my hair still had a slightly ashy look to it after brushing it for quite a while, though after about twenty minutes, it seems to have gone away. I'd be very interested to see how the non-brunette oriented versions compare. I also noticed that my bathroom counter is covered in a fine layer of dust from this product, so I wouldn't recommend using it while wearing black or dark colours.

The scent of this product is quite mild, and is fairly similar to most hair sprays, so I didn't find it too overpowering. I have never used dry shampoo before, but I found this very fast and easy to use. From start to finish it took less than five minutes to spray through my hair and then brush it out. I definitely can see myself using this in the future, as my hair takes a very long time to blow dry, so this is a much simpler solution. Though there are a few cons (the ashy colour and the residue left behind), the benefits of this product far exceed them. I can definitely recommend the use of Batiste's dry shampoo! #gotitfree

One of the better dry shampoos out there. Smell is nice and it doesn't weigh my hair down like other dry shampoos. The fact that this is also colored rather than the traditional "white" dry shampoo helps when I'm in a rush and miss a spot to rub in. I would recommend this product for sure.

The smell of this product is great, and its not too strong. I would however recommend using it with in a spacious room due to the brown tint of colour. I made the mistake of using it close to white walls and it did leave a slight visible residue (which can be easily wiped).

This dry shampoo leaves my hair feeling refreshed, smelling great and adds a bit of volume. On the can it says it can be used to cover up roots. I didnt not find that the colour was brown enough to be a good fix for that, but it id provide some coverage.

All in all it is a good product especially for those with light brown coloured hair. For those with darker hair you can still see a light coloured residue.

I'm a busy mama and there have been many mornings I should've washed my hair but didn't have the time so I was super excited to try out this dry shampoo! The shampoo worked okay and smelt amazing. The brunette colour was a great addition as it definitely helped disguise my roots a bit. I would definitely buy this product again.

This is the first time I have tried batiste and actually been impressed by the results. In the past I've found that it left an overly powdery residue in my hair but I found the trick with this was to spray my roots before going to bed and letting it absorb the oils overnight so that in he morning I would wake up with refreshed hair that was ready to go. Even though this is the version for dark hair it did still leave a bit of a white cast if not careful, but by using the before bed method I didn't have to worry about that.

J'Ai bien aimer essayer le shampoing sec batiste. Très facile d'utilisation et très rapide lorsque je manque de temps le matin ou lorsque je suis presser de sortir. la seule chose que j'ai moins apprécié, j'ai eu l'impression qu'il restait une légère pellicule de poudre sur mes cheveux malgré le colorant brun pour brunette. j'ai p-e les cheveux trop foncé pour celui-ci.

Honestly Batiste is the only dry shampoo I use because it is not heavy on my thin hair, does not leave a film and it ACTUALLY soaks up most of the oil in your hair. I think the spray in brunette is awesome because you will not have to worry about a white residue. A trick I like to use is spraying it in my scalp before bed so when I wake up the next morning it will have absorbed nicely and won't have to worry about brushing out the white residue.

My first impression was that the scent was pretty nice, it smells a bit tropically but not in a chemically way. I have dark brown hair and I found that the color of the dry shampoo worked well with my hair color, it is a bit lighter but when you massage it in your scalp the color difference disappears. I didn't find that this product gave any volume but it didn't weight my hair down either. It did a great job of removing oil from my hair without leaving any white or light brown cast. After applying this dry shampoo I was able to go for about a day and a half without reapplying and without noticing any oils in my hair. Overall, I am happy with this product and I would love to try out more batiste dry shampoo's!

I received the Batiste Beautiful Brunette dry shampoo for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for an honest review. My product arrived in the mail only 2 days before the review deadline, so this is more of first impressions. I have really dark brown curly hair. My main problem with other dry shampoos I had tried in the past was that they left a while powdery residue in my hair that I couldn't get rid of no matter how much I tried. In this dry shampoo, the powder is tinted brown. While it does still spray on noticeably light than my hair I was able to work it in with my fingers and get rid of any light patches. I also liked that I didn't have to fully brush my hair to work the product through, since brushing + curly hair = a frizzy mess. I did notice that this product absorbed some oil from around my roots, though there was a huge difference between a treated and untreated area, and this was three days since my last shampoo. Overall, this will be useful on rushed mornings where I can't fit in time to wash my hair, but I see it as more of an emergency product than part of my normal routine.

This was a great product! I have very dark hair that gets oily fast so this product was perfect for me. I wouldn't suggest this colour to people with light brown hair because I don't think the colour would match well. This spray smells great and have my hair the perfect about of volume. I am trying to wash my hair less because I wash it was to much so this is perfect for those gross feeling in between shower stages. It freshens my hair really well. Love it and totally recommend!
