I'm a big fan of batiste dry shampoo. Tried the volume and all it does is make my hair greasy. It does give you volume but don't like how my roots feels when i use it.
I don't hate it but I don't love it. It was my first time using it so maybe I didn't do the application perfectly. My hair did look better at first but certainly didn't give me that feeling of clean (which is just as important to me). I'll give it another go and hopefully I have more success the 2nd time around
I received Batiste Dry Shampoo PLUS Heavenly Volume in exchange for a review as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I was really excited to try this product, and while I liked the smell, I found that it didn't really do what I was expecting. It was good for styling for a short amount of time, but as the day went on, my hair started to feel sticky and unclean. At the end of the day, all I wanted to do was wash it out, which kind of defeats the purpose. I have really fine hair, which is why I wanted to try the Volume version - might be better if you have heavier hair.
I was offered the opportunity to review the dry shampoo and I must say I'm a little disappointed. The shampoo left my hair feeling really dry and rough. It did give it volume but I did not get a clean feel. Not a fan of the scent either.
It smells great. Good price. But it does leave grey residue which i had to brush alot to get rid of the grey tint. I find it works better if i apply it the night before. I also noticed that it made my hair stiff. Its an okay dry shampoo. Would not buy it again though.
I have tried 1 other dry shampoo before and it was better than this one. I have dark hair and this dry shampoo made my hair grey. I think the problem lies with the can/bottle itself. It is an aerosol type bottle and the pressure is too much when you spray it that it immediately covered the area instead of you being able to gradually put on more. So on my dark hair it started to make it look grey when i first sprayed it. The scent is alright. I think it would work better on blond hair or lighter shades of hair. Dry shampoos are obviously not a replacement for washing your hair but just a temporary solution to disguise greasiness in hair for a few hours if you don't have the time to wash and style your hair. I found it useful for prepping the hair to tease it. Your hair will start to feel greasy, heavy and disgusting again after a few hours depending on how oily it was, how long you went without washing it, how fine or thick your hair is. I have medium thick hair and I went about 4 hours with the product.
I was very excited to try out this dry shampoo by Batiste, however, I was slightly disappointed.
It definitely gave my hair some volume and that is what i was looking for, but it did leave a slightly white residue in my hair, which isnt a big deal because i have blonde hair, but i would not suggest it for people with darker hair. It left my hair pretty stiff which did not allow me to really style it the way i wanted. I was also not too impressed when I looked at the ingredients in this dry shampoo.... I would say that I would use this again in a quick pinch but it would not be my first choice if i was buying a dry shampoo.

Smells great, makes my hair feel gross.
The first time I used the Batiste dry shampoo, I noticed the white residue it puts in my hair. I worked it into my hair and roots, as the instructions say. I really enjoyed the scent that it left in my hair. Throughout the day the lovely scent was a nice thing to keep that fresh smell going on. At the end of the day before checking in for the night I went to brush my hair as I always do. I found it hard to brush. It had many tangles and felt kind of sticky as some hairspray does. I also had many hairs come out in my brush along with that whtle residue that was sprayed from the dry shampoo that morning. I would not recommend this product to anyone who doesn't enjoy the feeling of hairspray on your hair. It isn't really worth it to me. #gotitfree
I got a chance to try this Batiste Dry Shampoo through the ChickAdvisor campaign. I typically use the Batiste Original Dry Shampoo, so was really excited to get the Volume one as my hair tends to fall flat. I don't do well with strong scents so was a bit overwhelmed by this one - it's not a bad smell (quite pleasant really!) but maybe a tad strong for me. After I sprayed the shampoo on and massaged it in, my hair immediately felt less greasy so it worked well in that respect. However, my hair felt a bit stiff and felt "crunchy" throughout the day, kind of like when you use hairspray to hold your hair in place. I also had to massage it periodically to get the white flecks out as I have dark hair. So, all in all, a good dry shampoo that removes grease but adds hold (which I guess translates into volume) but I think I prefer the Original scent by Batiste. #gotitfree
I tried the Batiste Dry Shampoo Plus Heavenly Volume and was excited to try out a new type of dry shampoo. Leading a busy lifestyle this type of product definitely appeals to my senses :). I was not immediately totally impressed with the product because I did not use a large amount of it on my first try. It also didn't find that it kept my hair looking fresh for a long period of time. When I read the back of the bottle further there was a TOP TIP given of spraying it on with my head upside down, this definitely made a difference in terms of the volume and the overall look. Overall I find that the product did the job that it was intended to do, I would purchase this product again but I cannot use it all the time as it left my scalp quite itchy and dry. I do have a sensitive scalp to most products though so this did not surprise me. This is a great product to have on hand though for those rushed mornings! #gotitfree as part of the Product Review Club.
