Dry shampoo is not for me
I tried the Batiste Dry Shampoo line because it came highly recommended by my daughter. I picked the Tropical Coconut & Exotic scent because it really appealed to me more than the others.
After trying it, I was not overly impressed with the results. I didn't care for the powdery residue on my hair, plus it felt short of leaving my hair feeling clean and full. On the contrary, my hair felt vicky and limp so I had to resort to washing it after. It's definitely not for me...
Not helpful for oily hair
As a person that needs to wash her hair every day because it get’s that oily, I have tried this dry shampoo from batiste. Unfortunately it does not take all the oil away and does not stay for even half a day.
It gives a really bad white cast, and it doesn't absorb oil that well. What I found was it creates this layer of gunk, and then if you touch your head or scratch it the gunk gets "released" and so does the oil. I mean it sort of works... but not really.
I'm kind of on the fence when it comes to dry shampoos. I had tried one once before but really disliked the sticky tacky feeling it left behind in my hair. Then a co-worker recommended the Batiste. I have to say I really like the scent. However, if you have brown hair, it does leave a white film behind. And although it doesn't leave behind a sticky texture, it also doesn't leave the hair feeling as fresh as I would have hoped.
Odeur trop prononcé a mon gout.
As much as I love the other products, I just can't stand this one! I really enjoy subtle scents, but this was just a punch a coconut to the face. The formula is great and all, but i just can't breathe with this on!
Batiste Dry Shampoo Tropical Coconut & Exotic;
I think I am the only one here that did not like the smell of this dry shampoo by batiste :(
I liked coconuts so I decided to try scent, but I think in combination with the other scents I did not end up liking at all......
Otherwise, besides the scent , the dry shampoo does work good like the original one, it blends in nicely with both light and dark hair (which I personally used when switching up hair colors)
It made hair clean.
But the scent of tropical scented batiste dry shampoo , I wouldn't buy again this scent
Tried this product on a day I would have normally washed my hair. (I wash every second day).
I did not like this at all. I didn't find it made my hair look clean and actually made it greasy looking.
