    Not for nd

I was recently given the opportunity to to try out two products thanks to @thisisbutterly in exchange for my honest opinions!
First one is the Batiste Light Scent Green Tea & Chamomile!

For some reason my hair doesn't seem to like any kind of dry shampoo. I was really rooting for this one, as it's plant-powered. The Batiste dry shampoo didn't absorb into my scalp/hair at all, it left it looking greasy and very oily. The smell is very strong and overwhelming for me. This product just wasn't it for me

    Doesn't do much

I have tried previous versions of dry shampoo and I don't find that they do much. Maybe my hair looks slightly less greasy, but it is nowhere near close to good enough. I guess in a pinch, you could use it. I recently learned that the spray comes in different colours depending on your hair colour. I wish they advertised this more. I find it hard to get the white streaks out, but that's because I should be using the one for dark hair. That is not clearly communicated with this product. Also, the smell is too strong. I am not a fan.

Stinks, does not provide refreshed feeling

I was very excited to try out this Batiste Natural Extract Spray with Green Tea and Chamomile, however the scent of the product is so strong and unpleasant that I would not use it again. It is not subtle at all, and the scent does not dissipate at all over the day. I felt like the strong scent would attract more attention to my hair than leaving it unwashed and potentially greasy. I do not recommend this product. Its very disappointing that a product that boasts natural ingredients and scents would be so unnatural in actuality. Not a fan! It did not provide any texture, volume or make my hair appear as if it was washed that day. It left white residue that remained regardless of brushing and just felt gross in my hair.

    Smells good, but isn't a stand-out

Full disclosure: dry shampoo is not typically a product I have in my repetoire. Because I wanted to review this fairly, I purchased a competitor in order to compare the two.

The good: Batiste’s dry shampoo has a clean, neutral scent. The nozzle sprayed evenly and it was easy to use.

The bad: I dont feel like Batiste’s dry shampoo worked as well as the competitor that shall-not-be-named. 🤷‍♀️ My hair still felt sorta greasy after a few sprays… and those “few” sprays was more like 1/4 of the can.

The ugly- Like alot of brands on shelves today, I feel like this product is a victim of green-washing. A swipe of green on the packaging and mentions of “natural” and “plant-powered” doesn’t change its ingredient list. Consumers know that all (if not all) dry shampoos are full of chemicals- and thats okay! The green-washing is unnecessary.

    First three ingredients 🤦🏽‍♀️

Ok I'm not going to lie it does smell pretty good and it does make your hair feel super soft BUT the first three ingredients listed are propane butane and isobutane which is a little disturbing knowing that you're putting that on my your head and scalp! HIGHLY FLAMMABLE! Definitely would not purchase because im looking for cleaner products for my body and skin

    Only lasted a few hours

The Batiste Light Scent Green Tea & Chamomile Dry Shampoo worked well for a few hours, but as the day progressed, my hair just became oily. I would only use this if I were to go out at night for a few hours. I really do love the smell of this though, and love the fact that it uses natural extracts!
