A good quick boost on bad hair days

Prior to trying this product my hair was dry, dirty and limp. It hadn't been washed in about a week. It was hard for me to judge whether it actually cleaned my hair as it just soaked the product up so quickly. It did however provide some needed volume and a really nice fresh scent.

I tried it again on a different day after having dinner the night before at a friends house which caused my hair to soak in the smells of her cooking. I didn’t have time to wash my hair before running out in the morning when I noticed the smell so did a quick refresher using this product and it worked like a charm to freshen my hair up and remove the smell.

Great alternative to spray

I will start by confessing my loyalty to Batiste. I love trying new products and scents from their dry shampoos, so naturally, I was excited to try this foaming cleanser. Here are the pros and cons, based on my experience:
Pros
- As always, Batiste products are cruelty-free, which is important to me
- No white streaks like dry shampoo sprays
- Easy to disperse
Cons
- Not as effective at absorbing oil
- The nozzle is not especially user-friendly; dispenses in an unpredictable manner, at least for the specific bottle that I used

It works !!!

I received this product for free to try and it’s also the first time that I tried this kind of product. I am kind of excited.
I am someone who uses hair spray and it can dry my scalp and hair out and this has been the perfect combo. Not only does it help soothe my scalp and greatly reduce dryness of my scalp and hair but coconut milk has real concrete benefits. This has a lasting healthy hair feeling, leaving my hair moisturized but a bit greasy feeling throughout the day because I’m a type of oily hair.

It's okay

I received this product for free in the mail and I'll be honest, it's not my favorite dry shampoo out there. I used it on my third day hair and it made my hair look a little less greasy but not by much.This stuff does make your hair smell amazing though! Although it didn't work for my hair, it is still a good back up for when I'm out of my usual dry shampoo products!

Not as good as it’s spray counterparts

I’ve used Batiste dry shampoo sprays for years and loved them, and was really hoping this would hold up to the sprays but it fell quite flat! It is significantly better than the tresemme cleansing foam which just left my hair wet and dirtier than before, but this still isn’t quite what I’m looking for! Even after adding more and more product it felt cleaner/less greasy but did not look any different at all, compared to the sprays which have never failed me. I have fine fairly thin hair so perhaps it’s just my hair type, and I’ll continue to give it a shot but overall I’ll be sticking to the sprays.

Better than expected

Alright so I'll start with the fact I've tried the sprays of this stuff and I do not like them at all so i wasn't sure what to expect. My first thought was awesome it's a mousse I prefer working with them, the smell is definitely awesome. Now I have very greasy hair like one day not washed it's a grease ball so I used this on unwashed hair now I wouldn't say it made it not feel greasy but it definitely made it feel smooth and refreshed if that makes sense like i would definitely use this on non wash days where the spray types make my hair feel nasty.... my only issue with this product is it disappears so quick into the hair you barely get to spread it so you need to keep dispensing more and I worry about how long it will last.

Pleasantly surprised

Got it through the PRC here at Chick Advisor. A product I wouldn’t have normally gone for, but was pleasantly surprised by! I have thick 2c/3a hair so I wasn't expecting much from this. I think the coconut oil does wonders though. I LOVE the subtle and fresh coconut smell, and how easy it is to use and apply. I put it in my day 8 hair and it got rid of the flaky residue of my hair gel. It’s definitely something I’ll consider buying.

No Residue, even on dark hair!

I received the Batiste cleansing foam complimentary in exchange for an honest review.
I think that this foam would be perfect for someone who has roots that are dry and need a refresh in between washes. The application of this foam was very easy and one of my favourite things about it was that this does not leave any residue on my hair, which is dark brown. Often dry shampoos leave a powdery light white residue on my hair no matter how applied or what type of dry shampoo. The Batiste foam gets an A+ for leaving no white residue or powder feeling. The scent on this cleansing foam was very nice, it is not too overpowering and does fade slightly throughout the day. While I love that this is a foam and not spray, does not leave a residue, has a pleasant scent, I wish it worked better for oilier days and provide more cleansing. This waterless cleansing foam would be ideal if you don't have very oily roots, have a busy schedule, and need a good hair product for travel.

Liked this waterless shampoo!

I liked this waterless shampoo however I felt as though my hair didn’t look as clean as I would have liked but it felt dry and clean. I tried to use more product to get my desired result is it mentioned on the bottle but I wasn’t happy with it. Overall, I’ll use it again but think I’d be more disappointed if I’d paid for it 😬

Great product if you have short hair

I really liked this product, but I found one can only did three uses. I have thick long curly hair and found I had to use a lot in order for it work. The smell is amazing and I do recommend it if you have short hair.
