I wouldn't call this program a diet. It's more of a kick start to a lifestyle change. The weekly meal planning is a bit of a pain but there are so many existing ones out there that all you have to do is tweak a little to suit your tastes.
The containers are super helpful and easy to use. You have a specific container allowance per day and I often found that one simply cannot eat that much food. Just finish what you can and make sure you have something from each container. What I like about the container system is that it takes the guesswork out if how much food to actually eat.
The exercise Dvd's are short (only 30 minutes) but you're moving the entire time so they're effective. Who doesn't have 30 minutes a day to dedicate to exercise. The woman on the videos is super encouraging and really bubbly which can get annoying. There are modified moves for beginners and you do them at your own pace from the comfort of your living room.
Shakeology is gross. I got the vanilla sample pack which is only a weeks worth and I did not like it. I've heard that the coffee flavour is better though. I usually mixed mine with berries to take the nastiness away. They may take gross but they do actually work.
I like that you can eat anything you want but they teach you portion control and promote a healthy lifestyle. I only did one round (3 weeks) and lost 3 pant sizes. I'm more toned, feel better about myself and have changed how I eat.

Love 21 Day Fix
I recently signed up for Beachbody on Demand and did a full round of 21 day fix (including the meal plan). I lost 10 pounds during the 3 weeks. I took a week off from the exercise program but kept up with the meal plan and I didn't gain the weight back. I just started doing another round. The program and the shakes are quite expensive in my opinion, but for me it works! I need something easy to follow and I'm not good at counting calories. I love the shake because I'm not a breakfast eater. I just replaced my morning coffee with the shake. I love that the exercise program offers modifiers for beginners and that I can do the 30 minute workouts whenever or wherever I want. Different things will work for different people but this works for me!

I'm freshly back on another round of 21 day fix. I had to take a break because of my knee and a broken foot but I managed to lose almost 40 lbs! It works for me. I don't do shakeology but the meal plan is decent and the workouts are good. They have a modified version for those who are just starting to work out and need to do things easier. I recommend it!
This program is great for anybody who wants to start exercising regularly who cannot get out to a gym. Love the home half hour workouts, there are really no excuses to not do it. It's only a half hour. You can double up if you feel like it, follow the meal containers based on caloric intake, and a daily shake that seriously tastes so great you'll miss it if you didn't have it everyday! I have lots almost 20 pounds and feel so much better about my lifestyle.
I kicked off my fitness journey (6mos post partum) with 1 round of 21 Day Fix. I combined the workouts with drinking Shakeology and the portion controlled eating plan. The results were extremely effective! The workouts were varied and at 30mins very manageable even with small kids!
I think this program is really good for many people. It's pretty easy to follow the workouts and the food portion containers take the guess work out of the nutrition part. I love the online accountabity groups and the coaches. I personally had a hard time sticking to it because I don't enjoy working out and didn't enjoy the workouts ( although I know many people who did) I am going to order the country heat instead because I think I'll have an easier time with that!
You can stay at home, nobody look at you, in the comfort of your house. You can train by following the few CDs that are given to you. Autumn Calabrese is such a good coach, if you can't afford her exercises, ''follow Cath'' hahah I usually don't like training, but with that I find it funny to do. It's only 30 min, and it can make such a difference to bring you healthy.
this was the only beachbody i have ever been able to complete. i have many health issues which restricts my ability to do cardio and harder workouts. i did this originally when it was first released. i love autumn calabrese so much, she doesnt seem as fake as other trainers in the spotlight. the workouts are only 30 minutes and you definitely get a sweat on. they are easily modified for what level you are at, which is very encouraging. shows you the modifiers and gives you suggestions on hiw to make easier or more difficult. beachbody is also a whole fitness community which works well. the containers are a must and lets you learn proper portion sizes for your body etc. they containers look deceiving at first. they are quite "small". but when youre filling them a few times a day, you actually have a ton of food to eat. eat the right food, you'll need less food too. lol allows you to learn the right sizes so its a life long knowledge.super easy to follow mostly. doing it vegan, can be lots harder though. but fully recommended!

The workouts provided in CDs are fun and motivating. As an added bonus, you can pay a big more per week and streamline lots of different workouts through your BeachBody online account.
The program if you really dig into provides all sorts of incentives and motivation for people to reach their goals. You can find BeachBody coaches all over the world. There are contests to enter and events to attend.
There is as much focus on workouts as there is on diet. Online you have access to endless recipes, fitness articles and tips and tricks that worked for others.
I sincerely believe if one follows the program (like most of them out there), they will find success. The people I have seen with the best success are people who are relatively inactive that have a routine work schedule/lifestyle already. It seems like with a bit of muscle building, smaller portions and an ability to eat at regular intervals through out the day, those gals/guys really thrive on this program.
This programme seems pricy, but if you look it differently it is not. I mad a lot of these workout, they are fun, easy and fast. The results speak for themselves! I've lost 20lbs in 2 round I'm happy of this program!
Plus the container system is awesome I don't focus on calories now but on great food and the right portion!
