took me a while . . .
It took me a while to jump on the beauty blender train but I'm finally onto it. I really love my beauty blender sponges and have recently found a fairly easy way to clean them.. (waster / dish soap.. microwave for a minute.. repeat as necessary.. watch out though.. the cup of water will be extremely hot!!) They seem to blend better than brushes or traditional sponges especially under the eye area.
Comes with a few costs but works really well
I'm very much not a pro at makeup, but I like to play around once in a while, and am always interested in items or gadgets that will help me improve my skills. The sponge is pricey, but blends very nicely with a natural, flawless finish. The downsides are that I find I use a lot more product, and most of it is held inside the sponge (even when wetting it first!). Another downside is that I wanted to be very strict with washing it each time, and it started to really look worn and even started to tear before very long at all - about a month of not-daily use.
Works great
The only thing I don't like is the price! But I think everyone should at least experience using one once in their life! It does help make your makeup look flawless almost air brushed. Also it is user friendly!
Top quality
This is the best sponge and blender out there. It’s no surprise it’s rated number 1 out of all of them. It’s easy to use my simply wetting the sponge and squeezing out the water and applying the foundation onto the sponge or by blending it on your skin. I love how it’s the perfect size and easy to use and precise. I can get those hard to blend areas and get an all over even application. Highly recommend this
It's pricey but amazing.
It is perfect for it's intend use. But for me it is a little pricey and if you want a lot of use out of it I would recommend buying the cleaner. You can find dupes for it and I recommend that before the actual product but its fine either way!
Expensive, but effective makeup sponge
This blender is great. This was the first makeup sponge I ever used and I haven't changed the way I apply my foundation since. However, I have changed sponge brands just because I think the price of the beauty blender is a little insane. They tell you to replace them every three months, but often it starts falling apart well before then. Therefore $30 every month or so is a bit much when there are quite a few more affordable sponges on the market. So its a great sponge, just too expensive. But if that's in your price range then great!
Expensive sponge. Good results.
A good product.
The Beauty Blender gives a great finish to foundation application. Personally, I don't think its worth the price.
It is not convenient when in a rush, as it takes tedious efforts to fully blend foundation with this sponge. The sponge also soaks up face products, this is also another factor that should be considered.
The results itself are pretty good, but I think some other sponges such as the Real Techniques one can rival the the Beauty Blender.
AMAZING PRODUCT. I wouldnt go back to brushes. Brushes are streaky and the beauty blender gives me flawless airbrush finish. Its quick and easy use. One complaint is that it takes too much product.
I finally worked out that you actually have to wet it to use it (pays to read instructions!!), no now i love it!
nice even coverage, but i find it does soak up a lot of my expensive foundation, much more than a brush would so i usually use it to blend in concealer rather than doing my full face
I bought the blender from Shoppers Drug mart which is a Canadian drug store. It was only 8 dollars and is very effective. It is easy to clean and store. One of my favourite things about it is that it can be used with different shades and can be easily cleaned.
