A little high priced but works great. Works much better than any of the knock off ones ive tried

I received this in my first birchbox & i havent been able to put it down since. It definetly is my holy grail product now to put on my foundation. It is quick & easy to use.The sponge applicator has a triangular end which is perfect to apply concealer with , it goes on so easy and smoothly & with the rounded end it is so easy to cover all over your face in just seconds. I would highly reccomend this to anyone who has liquid foundation or concealer in your daily makeup routine.

The material to make the beauty blender is one-of-a-kind. Makes it easy to use and it is very soft. It is hard to clean and you must clean it often or else bacteria, dirt, etc will build-up and cause skin problems. In my opinion, this was good to receive first because I wouldn't have known that I don't like it and spent money on this. It's harder to blend thinner liquid foundations (i.e. Lancome Teint Miracle, Maybelline Fit Me) and BB creams, which are all I use. So, I wouldn't recommend it. It wastes a lot of product and takes more time to apply anything. It's not the sponge isn't good quality, it's that I don't think it's an ideal tool to apply foundation/BB cream/concealer. A Real Techniques brush does a much better job.

I'll be the first to admit that this sponge is incredibly overpriced considering that it is just that -- a sponge. I will also admit that I haven't been able to find a sponge made of the same material. However, I have found sponges of different materials that do the same job. I really like the BB because it's super soft and easy to work with, plus it doubles in size when wet. It's not very durable, but I guess it can't be given its super soft texture. I used to love makeup sponges in general -- makeup sponges as in the BB and BB-like dupes. More recently though, I haven't been such a fan. I feel like it makes the makeup a little more difficult to blend. My main issue is that if you go over a place that has makeup on it already, the sponge will take the makeup off -- it makes my face look really blotchy and uneven and, believe me, it's incredibly frustrating. I prefer my fingers and those little cosmetic wedges for makeup application.

I don't get all the hype about this sponge. For the price and the way other people talk about it, I was expecting something much better. I wet this and then squeeze the water out, and it just seems to make my foundation so sheer that there's no coverage. It doesn't seem that sturdy, my nails have already put holes in it and when I wash it, with either the solid cleanser or the liquid, it won't come clean at all. When I wash it, the colour runs so bad! The water is a bright pink colour. I did get this in the April Birch box so I didn't actually fork out the cash for this, and I'm really glad I didn't. Just not worth it to me.

The beautyblender is my favorite way to apply my liquid foundation! I have been using it for years and recommend it to anyone in the market for makeup tools. It is an egg-shaped sponge and can be used with multiple products.
I use it for applying liquid foundation on my face, unlike normal makeup sponges the beautyblender should be damp when used. Soak the beautyblender and gently squeeze out excess water, then 'bounce' it on your skin to apply your product.
Beautyblender makes applying liquid foundation easy and flawlessly blends in into your skin.

I have only tried 2 other sponges in addition to the beauty blender. One was a Quo sponge and the other was the real techniques miracle sponge. They were OK but I bought the black version of the beauty blender and I'm quite happy with the results. Blends nicely, easily and doesn't leave any streaks.

I received this in one of my beauty subscriptions. I absolutely love it. I didn't want to splurge and buy it but now I couldn't imagine my life without it. A must have.

I love this makeup sponge. I got it from Sephora in a Benefit kit which contained two sponges. It's great, makes your skin look dewy and helps speed up the process of applying makeup. It would also be good to travel with since you wouldn't need to take anything extra.
