Theee best ever!!!
I 'am new to the area and this is one of the best experience that I've had post Lockdown. We had the Cheese cake and apple pie. it was fresh and hot , melt in your mouth. A must try for a summer treat.
This pastry is to die for
I love that their a Canadian thing! I have been eating these since I was a kid and my favourites the original one with cinnamon. A very sweet pastry that will keep you wanting more.
Definitely got to try these!
Beavertails are my favourite thing ever! They taste so good. I have tried almost every single flavour.
My favourite actually has to be the savory one, the garlic and cheese one. It is so warm and tasty. However, with that being said, the other ones are also equally as good.
They are prepared on the spot, so you always have a fresh warm one. These are great to enjoy in the winter months, but are good in the summer as well!
So Delicious!!!
These are a must-have treat! I often have one in the winter if I go to the Rideau Canal. The pastry is made fresh to order and there are so many topping options. I like the plain cinnamon and sugar topping, but many of the other ones also sound very appealing and from other people I know who have had them they taste amazing too! A beaver tail is dough that is fried to perfection and then you get your choice of topping. The dough is soft yet the edges are crispy. The pastry is thick enough so you really get a wonderful taste. The dough always tastes so fresh! These can be expensive, I think it is around $5 each. They are well worth it though for an occasional treat.
Welcome to Canada! When you've been outside in the cold for awhile it's time to head out for a sweet tasting melt in your mouth Beaver Tail. There are so many options to choose from and it's fun to try all of them. It's a rich sweet fried dough with various garnishes. It's not something you eat every week but it is synonymous with winter and a traditions that my family looks forward to every year.
