Not what I expected

Tasting this margarine for the first time, I was surprised to find the flavor of olives is so intense. Even for someone like me who likes eating olives, I found this took a moment to get used to on a slice of bread. It definitely adds flavor to other items.
For the most part I have enjoyed this product in small quantities, however, after eating 3 slices of garlic toast, I had a bad case of indigestion and was burping up that olive flavor.

Would buy again

This got me at olive oil. Anything that allows me to cook healthier gets a thumbs up from me. Also it's a brand I usually buy. Tastes good, easy to spread.

This margarine is not up my alley as i found it very plain and oily tasting. I suppose it would be good for the olive oil lover but my family did not enjoy as it lacked that salty taste we look for in a margarine product

Becel Olive Oil margarine taste like any other margarine. And it works out more expensive then if you get the original formula Becel margarine, which is what I normally buy.

There's honestly nothing special about this olive oil margarine. It's just like the original version, but a smaller amount. And the same price, which makes no sense. I was hoping it would taste different at least, but I haven't noticed anything. They claim it's healthy for you, just because of the olive oil, but if you're cooking with olive oil you don't really need any extra in your diet.

This was not for me. When I have toast in the morning I like a good buttery flavour. This was not it. Olive oil flavour is good for cooking but for some things no thank you. Popcorn as well. It did not work for me. I did though like it for a quick sauté.. all in all I wouldn't get this again based on the fact of how many containers do I need in my fridge. I wouldn't purchase a separate one for toast and popcorn. One marine container is enough.

i did not like the taste of becel margerine, it has a strong taste of the olive oil, not what i like in a margerine.
i try to buy margerine that tastes more like butter. butter prices have really skyrockted over the paste few years. the price of olive oil margerine is also very expensive,so i would buy butter over becel olive oil margerine.

One of the few spreadable 'margarines'. This is a good quality product. Finally a decent one made from Olive oil. However, it would be better if it was offered in a variety of sizes. My store offered it only in one size.

Love the product. Tastes great. My family and I use it on a daily basis, it spreads well and is a great alternative to most products. Go Becel products!

I'm not a margarine lover, but if I had to pick one- it would be becel and olive oil. It just sounds a bit healthier. I've tasted this particular one, and I don't find it that different than other flavours. It's spreads easily, but doesn't compare to butter

I don't usually use magazine, but I do use olive oil. Thus I decided to try this on my toast for breakfast as well as try cooking with it. Plus it was on sale so I went for it. It spreads nicely on my toast, but unfortunately, I did not really enjoy the taste. It was a bit weird tasting for me. Again I don't usually add magazine to my cooking so that could be a factor. Then, I tried cooking eggs and veggies with it, which tasted a bit better. I think i will use it in baking since I don't enjoy much the taste.
