Ce beurre m'a beaucoup surprise. Aussi bon que le beurre traditionnelle, je l'ai utilisé dans les pâtisseries et elles étaient bien réussi. Vraiment je recommande.

Tastes just like “normal” butter

The taste and consistency is amazing. I would not know it was plant based. Love that it is a healthier option.
I did not bake with it but I did use it on toast snd is melted well. My kids didn’t even know I sealed out their regular butter for this.

Becel Salted Plant-Base Bricks

Recieved this product free, in exchange for my review. I was very happy to try out this plant base butter. I’m lactose intolerant so I gave this one a try since I use a lot of it in my house; eggs, toasts, baking etc. The taste was great...the texture to this butter was super soft & easy to cut, spreading on toast and such is no issue. Since receiving this, it’s all I buy now when I grocery shop! 😊

Couldn't tell it wasn't butter

I don't have a photo of my own because it got used up so fast by the whole family. We used it from toast to baking and everything in between. We couldn't tell that it wasn't real butter. It tastes great, spreads well and of course its plant based, vegan, gluten free and dairy free. It comes in at a better price than butter as well. Nutritionally this product appears to have significantly less sodium than a butter. However does not add any amount of Vitamins to your diet, that said butter is does not contain much more than a small percentage of Vitamin A. I highly recommend this product.

Its the only butter i buy now ~ love it!

Big congrats to Becel on this plant based butter! This is honestly the only butter i buy now. This plant based butter cooks up just like regular dairy butter but feels lighter, (and smells so much nicer as well). Usually i will buy the blocks and cut them into sections to pull out of the freezer as needed. Also the price is fantastic! (in between butter and margarine prices). It was an easy switch not much convincing needed other than trying it once.

Excellent Taste!!! But what about the palm oil?!?

I was very impressed with these plant-based bricks by Becel! They are vegan and dairy-free, and they can be used as a straight substitute for regular butter in cooking or baking. The taste was great and really boosted the flavour of our potatoes!

However, I am concerned that the main ingredient is palm oil! I chose to try this product as I am trying to reduce my impact on the planet and thought that a vegan and dairy-free option would be a good way to go! However, if the palm oil wasn't responsibly sourced, my environmental impact has simply shifted, rather than been reduced. More information on the packaging with regards to their sourcing would be appreciated!

Would I recommend to a friend? I would if I found their sourcing of palm oil was responsible.

Butter lovers do love it!

Honestly, I was skeptical of becel butter when they claimed that butter lovers will love it. It doesn't taste exactly butter, but I really liked the taste of it, maybe more than real butter! Also, it seems to be a healthier alternative to butter, also is plant based. It baked well, also good to use as a spread. So glad to have found this.

Not too bad

This butter has great taste. I’ve used it both on my toast as well as in my cooking when recipes ask for butter. I would definitely consider purchasing this again.
