Loved this for baking

I used this plant based bricks for baking and they were perfect, tasted just like butter, and worked like butter with the baking, they were a lot easier to bake with actually, because I didn't have to melt them to use them or worry about having them too soft so that's a bonus. The bricks made it a lot easier for measuring too. So not only does it taste great its a lot more practical. Love these and I would recommend to everyone as I will continue to use for my baking and cooking.

Great product!

I received this item completely free for an honest review - and honestly I love it! The Becel salted plant-based brick butter is very smooth. I was able to pull it out of the fridge and smooth it easily over my toast while it was still cold which is something I usually struggle with for other butter bricks.
The taste is also much “cleaner” than other butters, if that makes sense. It’s not as greasy or heavy, and is salted just enough to taste and is not overwhelming.
I really enjoy this butter and will definitely be purchasing it in the future!

J'ai reçu un coupon gratuit que j'ai échangé contre une barre de beurre salé Becel à base de plantes.

C'est la première fois que j'utilise ce produit, franchement j'ai bien aimé. Je l'ai essayé avec des recettes sucrées et salées et le résultat était tout aussi bon.

Le fait que ça soit à base de plantes nous donne l'impression qu'on mange plus seinement.

Et ce que j'ai adoré plus que tout, c'est sa texture molle. Facile à tartiner et pas besoin de la sortir des heures à l'avance du frigo pour faire une recette. Parfaite pour les plans de dernière minute :)

Light and tasty

#gotitfree I received Becel salted plant-based brick for free to give my honest opinion about how I liked the product. I made peanut butter cookies to see the difference of how I normally bake. I found that once I got all the ingredients in the bowl the butter mixed well and it was nice and creamy. I noticed that the dough held a little better when making the balls to press down. When the cookies came out and I tasted one I noticed that the cookies were light and crunchy. It was a different taste compared to what I'm use to but I preferred these over my regular ones. I will make these again using Becel plant-based butter. I will sure recommend this to friends and family. #ad

What a surprise !!!

I was so happy to receive the coupon and found the product right away at loblaws. The most surprise was in the exquisite taste and consistency almost creamy. Perfect for lactose intolerant people!

I use this with some toast and its just delicious. The salt adds a bit of flavor to my toast. Also tried making muffins with them and they are just taste so good. One good thing about becal is you can use it on all types food we eat everyday. I recommend you try becal out!

excellent butter alternative!

I love baking so I was super excited when I received my coupon and it was accompanied by a recipe for butter tarts which are one of my all time favorite treats. Firstly I would like to note that I had a really hard time finding the Becel plant based brick - I looked at 4 different stores before finally finding it. I gathered the rest of the ingredients to make the tarts and got to work. Because I was using the salted plant based brick I just didn't add extra salt to my tart pastry. The brick made a lovely really easy to roll out crust. I'm so used to having to use a lot of elbow grease to roll out a chilled pie dough but this was lovely and smooth - what a nice treat! As for the tarts, I will definitely be using the Becel recipe again. I had most of the items needed already in my pantry which was great. It was a fast, inexpensive and comforting treat to have on hand during all this craziness in the world. Would definitely use the Becel plant based brick again as a butter substitute. There's also the added bonus that it's about half the price of butter.

J'ai essayé ce produit et il est très bon, la texture est lisse et facile a utiliser. Vous pouvez l'utiliser dans les recettes ou sur des rôties. Le goût est vraiment bon. Toute le monde l'a aimer chez moi. Pratique en brique comme le beurre. Parfait pour mettre dans mon beurrier.fait une belle présentation sur la table lors de visite. Le prix est juste, comparer à la livre de beurre. Pour nous se sera rendu un incontournable et bien meilleur pour la santé. Je vous le recommande fortement. Vous allez l'adorer.

j ai bien aimé testé le produit, facile d utilisation , il est idéal pour faire des patisseries, j ai aimé la texture et le gout et c est certain que je vais l acheter.

Just like butter!

I chose the unsalted plant based Becel, as you can always add salt but can't take it out. So far I have used it on steamed vegetables as well as stuffed mushroom caps. The texture is a little bit softer and oiler than regular butter but I could not notice a difference in the taste. It is a nice vegan alternative to butter. Nutritionally speaking the calories and fat are the same between the two, however the Becel plant based is lower in saturated and trans fat. I think this is a great butter substitute!
