Ce n'est pas du beurre!

J'ai été déçue de ce produit. Je m'attendais à un bon goût de beurre, mais j'ai eu droit au bon vieux goût de margarine. Le produit fond également très vite, ce qui peut nuire pour certaines recettes. Par contre, ce peut être une bonne alternative pour ceux qui ne consomment pas de produits laitiers.

Great Taste

I definitely liked the taste of this plant based product. It tasted like butter and spread like butter. I was very pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality. I used it for a spread on toast and also used in mashed potatoes and found it worked excellent in both applications. I would recommend this product. #gotitfree #chickadvisor

Works just like butter!

I was a little surprised when purchasing this that it was hard to find because the packaging is so much like butter that I didn't realize that it wasn't. After being in the fridge, it was slightly softer than my butter, but other than that seemed the same.

I baked lemon bars and used it on homemade bread. It has a lower melting point than butter, so softening it for the lemon bars (I forgot to leave it out) was a little trickier without melting any and they did stick a little more to the pan, but other than that, there was absolutely no difference - they were delicious! Nobody in my family noticed any difference at all.

The same with using it as a spread as butter - a true test. The texture and taste was indistinguishable from butter.

Although I don't follow a vegan diet, I have friends who do and this will make it much easier to incorporate into my regular recipes. Frankly, depending on the price point at the store, I would be happy to use this interchangeably with butter.

Just like Butter!

Usually I buy butter for the health benefits, but I do keep margarine on hand as well. I thought I'd give these bricks a try because, well, I got them for free! My first use for them (and only, so far) was for chicken wing sauce. It uses a whole stick of butter usually, so I swapped it for the Becel margarine sticks. I literally couldn't tell the difference! It looks like butter, smells like butter, and tastes like butter. Actually, it melted better than butter, which is a major pro! It's not unreasonably priced either. I'm excited to try it in popcorn and for baking! I would buy it again!

No need for the expensive butter!

Same great taste as regular butter. Love that you can get salted or unsalted. Perfect for baking! I find that you don't need as much as you would with real butter.

Tastes like real butter

Loved it. It tasted like real butter. I do still like my real butter but I will definitely make space for this as well. As it is less calories it’s a good alternative.

This new plant based butter is FANTASTIC! There is zero taste difference in this butter compared to a regular stick of Becel butter. I LOVE the fact that it is plant based and a healthier option for my family as we love butter on most things. I am looking forward to using it in my baking. If you regularly buy bricks of butter, I highly recommend this and you will definitely be switching from your regular brand!

Choix santé

Becel à base de plante est sans aucun doute un choix santé. J’ai reçu ce produit de façon gratuite pour l’essayer. Après avoir testé, je continuerai à l’utiliser car il a beau goût et il est beaucoup plus santé que le beurre ordinaire. Il a un bon rapport qualité-prix. Je le recommande sans aucun souci.

Great Plant Butter

The Becel Plant-Based Bricks are amazing! I made cookies and I used the bricks and the cookies turned out awesome! The Becel Plant-Based Bricks taste, cook and bake like dairy butter. Also they are vegan and dairy free! I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves to bake.
