Like butter but margarine

This product was great. I used it whenever a recipe called for butter made it a lot easier to measure out. But highly recommend although the price was a little higher than I would have liked to have spent.

When i think of butter, i think Becel

I like this brand, i usually buy it and i like the variety of tastes and containers they offer. The taste is good, it's smooth, easy to spread or use in any recipe. Healthy and maintains the good taste of butter.

Was ok for a first timer!

I tried this for the first time last week. #gotitfree
I used it in my avocado banana bread!
And too cook some eggs.
I honestly couldn’t tell that it was plant based. Tasted excellent!
I am definitely going to buy when it is on sale (as I do find the price a little steep)

nice alternative

i received this product for free to test.
I enjoyed using this product. I have used it on numerous applications - as a spread on toast and as part of my pizza dough.

As a spread on toast, it had identical taste as my regular margarine.
As an ingredient in my homemade pizza dough, it did not alter the taste or consistency in my dough.

I thoroughly enjoyed using it in both applications, however, I dont know if i would purchase it over the other stuff I use, based on $$.

I'm surprised!

I think I would actually buy the product again. The price is a little more than I would like. It pretty much costs the same as real butter if not a bit more. But I liked the texture. Smooth and very soft. The softness helps make it easier to spread which is a bonus!! Color wise it looks just like real butter too!! Overall I am super impressed with it!!

J’ai essayé le beurre à base de plante Becel

J’ai eu la chance de tester gratuitement le beurre Becel à base de plante. J’ai beaucoup aimé! Je n’ai pas vu de différence pour le goût, je l’ai utilisé pour cuisiner. J’ai beaucoup aimé que l’emballage soit en portion de 6 bâtonnets. Je le recommande et je vais assurément le racheter.

Received a full value coupon to purchase and test this product as part of the Family Rated Club. Found it very similar in texture and taste to regular butter and kids did not know the difference. My husband is a bit pickier and said it was okay although he preferred real butter. Did not have a chance yet to taste it in baking but based on the taste and texture I do not see why it would not be as good or better in baking than butter.

Presque comme le beurre

On s'attend à goûter le beurre, étant donné le format. Cependant, malgré que ce soit un excellent produit, a base d'ingrédients naturels, on ne retrouve pas le petit côté "gourmand" du beurre.

La texture est cependant plus facile a utiliser que le beurre régulier.

Pour ce produit unique, un bon goût, une texture agréable et ses ingrédients, je recommanderais a ceux qui recherchent ce type de produit.

Delicious - on par with butter

I was at first surprised at the price of this plant based product but after baking with it I’m ok with it! It’s very similar to butter but with less trans fats.
It behaved much like butter when left on the counter to reach room temperature for baking, maybe even a bit faster to warm up.
It made cookies a bit crispier but not noticeable enough for the kids to notice!
I’d buy it again if it were on sale, but not permanently replace butter.
Kids loved it on their bread though! So much easier to spread than butter that hasn’t been warmed up and tastier than margarine.

Pretty good for fake butter

I am a real butter type of guy, raised on the open plains of the praries, this butter was alright but not the same as real butter. I liked the idea of it and will used it again, but for me the real taster of butter is better.
