This product made me sooooo happy!!!I BECEL VEGAN MARGARINE-- tastes fantastic. I would never know it was not regular margarine.So pleased to find a margarine that is dairy free and available in a regular grocery store--and one that is affordable. I have used it in recipes to substitute for butter and on muffins and sandwiches. It will now be on my staple list.Dont be afraid to buy it !!!!!

Really loved the new becel vegan butter. same great taste as the original with a bonus of vegetable oil ..it was great mixed in to my rice.thx chick advisor for the great opportunity

This review is my honest opinion. I must say, I #gotitfree as a member of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.

It's been more than 10 years that I've had dairy products and I almost forgot what they actually tasted like, but the Becel vegan margarine hits the spot. It's not too salty, it's not too hard, it's perfectly soft every time. It doesn't take much to add flavour to a dish. I tested it out on corn niblets and it did not disappoint.

I would definitely recommend this product to a friend as a lot of vegan butter products are very expensive. This product is also gluten free, which makes a big difference in my world. I also used it on toast and jam, it was a rather nostalgic moment for me believe it or not. Haha. I also used it when making waffle batter. Who would have guessed that I'd miss something so simple?

It retails (in Ontario) for $5.99 and that's a great deal for 2lbs. I've paid that amount for less than half for vegan butter. Now, it's going to be a staple in my house.

I'm not vegan by any means, but when possible, I'll always try to go animal-free. I think this is a product I'll definitely keep around the house. I have several friends that are vegan, so they'll definitely appreciate it when they come over. The taste is comparable to Becel's other varieties of margarine - not too salty, easily spreadable, and can even cook with it. Was definitely pleased when I was selected to try this item for free through the product review club!

Globalement, je recommanderais ce produit, car il a bon goût et ne contient pas de produits d’origine animale, ce dernier point étant très important pour moi. Il n'y a en effet pas beaucoup de marques de margarine disponibles au Québec qui ne contiennent pas de produits animaux, et ce produit est assez facile à trouver en épicerie d'habitude. Par contre, j'aimerais que cette margarine ne contienne pas d'huile de palme, car sa production est très mauvaise pour l'environnement (déforestation, etc.) et détruit énormément d'habitats d'animaux...

I like trying to find lactose free products so decided to give this one a try. I don't use margarine for many things but this stuff does the trick like any other margarine. It spread easily and has a standard margarine smell to it. I didn't notice much of and aftertaste while mixing it with other food items. I'm not a huge fan of margarine alone but this stuff does as good of a job as any other.

I love the vegan becel. I am able to use it in all baking and whatever i am baking it comes out the same as if I had used butter. It also taste like regular becel with is a huge bonus for me! Everyone in my family enjoys it.

Iv found my self reaching for it more then I do regular butter. The taste is great, I use for evrything from baking to cooking even just on a plain toast! It has completely taken the place of butter in our house hold.

A great non dairy, butter substitute.

We bought the Becel "vegan" because it was the only margarine on sale that day. But we do not notice any difference in taste. It works just as well as regular Becel for cooking too!
