Love the fact that it is lactose free, we love it, I bake with it in everything, even my butter tarts...people can't tell the difference and I don't tell them... :)
My 19 years old granddaughter eats only vegan -whenever I see on sale I buy for her.
I use especially when |i make cinnamon rolls for her and her boy friend
Love the product. I was vegan for a while and used it and didn't notice a difference in the taste. It's healthier too so that's a bonus. I would recommend this product to anyone.
My son can not have dairy so this is the margarine we use. When I switched to this my family noticed, but in a good way! They couldn't get over the delicious taste. I use it on toast, waffles and even in my baking and it it the best!
Becel is not my favourite as I prefer better, but it this one works well for cookies (not baking). We love to have eggs or fry ups some potatoes so this is something that is cheaper than butter!
We tried this for my husband and I'm not a fan at all. Left an aftertaste and a film in my mouth after eating it. Also couldn't get it to brown up when making grilled cheese?
I hate to give this kind of review. We have always used Becel. We love the Becel: Light & Buttery. So we thought we would give the Vegan a try. I hated it. I don't know if anybody else thought it tasted like OLD canola oil. I couldn't get past the taste.
This is the go to margarine in my household. It's delicious and doesn't taste really any different from the non vegan brand, but it's nice to know it is however vegan. It spreads great, tastes great, melts great, its just all around great. We have probably 3 containers of it in the fridge right now.
I was very excited to find the vegan alternative to some of the more expensive products out there. It has a nice taste and very easily spread. I use thia on a regular basis to substitute in baking as well.
Find this has an awful aftertaste and as others have mentioned, left a weird sensation in my mouth. I suppose going vegan takes some sacrifices, but I don't envy my friend having to eat this and I'll definitely bring my own margarine to her house next time I'm over (politely with her permission)
