A makeup mirror might not be a must have for everyone but if you have really bad lighting in your house like I do then its actually quite handy. I like that it's very light and extremely portable. It can be powered up by either 4 AAA batteries which are not included or can be charged with the USB cord that comes included or any other android changer you might have around the house.

The mirror itself is easy to assemble and use. You just attach the mirror to the base and turn the power switch on in the back and in the front their is a touch sensor button that turns on the 21 LED lights. I was afraid the lighting would be harsh but it's a soft white light that makes it easier for me to see when applying my makeup. There are two magnifying mirrors one is 2x and the other is 3x. I have a hard time seeing without my glasses so the 3x mirror works perfect for me.

This mirror has absolutely no distortion so there's clarity at every angle which is especially important when applying makeup. The rest of the mirror is made up of a smooth durable plastic. The mirror is thin and since it is a trifold mirror its very easy to fold.The only complaint I have with the Beetle Trifold Mirror is that I wish it came in black instead of white. I find black to look more stylish and chic and not to mention that white is always harder to keep clean. But since it's plastic it is easy to wipe clean. I just wipe it down with a damp cloth every once in a while.

So whether you have vision problems like myself and need this mirror for magnifying purposes or for bad lighting in your home ora just the need to see your face from all angles to apply your makeup then this mirror is for you. The stand swivels and rotates 180° or you can also remove it from the stand and lay it flat if that's your preference. It's easy to use but if you do run into any difficulties you can take a look at the users manual.
