Refreshing Soothing Hydrating

This is a lightweight gel like face cream. After applying my skin feels an instant boost of soothing, refreshing hydration. This cream absorbs quickly and keeps my skin moisturized all day. It’s definitely great for warmer weather.

Best for dry skin

Belif’s ‘The True Cream’ Aqua Bomb is a solid hydrating moisturizer that will work for most people, but those prone to oily skin should probably avoid this. When it comes to combination skin (my type) you’re going to want to use it a little differently. I have combination skin and using The True Cream twice a day every day did start to leave my skin oily and overhydrated after a few days, but only on the spots that are normally prone to oil. On the dry areas it really brought them up to a better level and gave them a nice look and glow.

For combination skin this is a fantastic cream if you use it as a twice a week moisture boost, or use it daily but only on your normal/dry areas, avoiding those areas prone to oil. For dry skin I feel this would be a slam-dunk because it really is incredibly moisturising and softening.

The texture is really pleasant, like a cooling gel cream. The scent won’t be for everyone, I thought it was ok but not my favourite. It’s a strong citrus/floral/mentholy kind of combo that was quite herbal smelling. I recommend trying a sample to make sure you like it before committing as the scent is really quite strong!

Overall, a great cream for those who need hydration, but those without dry skin will want to adjust their usage of Belif’s ‘The True Cream’ Aqua Bomb.

A nice gel-cream

The true cream - aqua bomb is a light facial gel-cream meant to increase hydration in all skin types. Made with apothecary ingredients, the K-Beauty cult fave is lightly and attractively scented and promises to nourish skin and seal in moisture.

My skin is iffy with gels and gel creams, this one doesn't work too well for me. Unless applied very lightly and sandwiched in a routine, it just sits on my face and doesn't absorb. But I think for other skin types this would work much better.
