100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
The Eye shadow 9 stack has lasted for years. You only need a tiny bit at a time. The colours are great and gives you a good selection to choose from. I don't really like the design of it. All 9 colours are stacked in a row. You need to be careful when unscrewing them or you will lose a bit of product. It's an odd design. They should provide a tiny scoop or a few. A little does go along way. It was a bit pricier than I thought. It has lasted in the long run.
My overall impression of this product is that it looks nice once it's on your face, but prepare for messy makeup application.
As is pretty clear from the pics, the 9 powders are stacked one on top of the other and you twist them apart at whichever colour you want to use. I'll give them credit for having unique packaging but, from a practical perspective, it creates a colourful disaster in your makeup bag and on your counter. This is because the powder doesn't just stay put, but seeps out, so when you twist it open, powder falls all over the place.
That said - even though a lot of powder is lost on your counter, sink and in your bag - it still lasts a long time. I received the 9 stack (the Serenity colour palette) as a gift 2 or 3 years ago and it is still not even close to being finished.
The beauty of the powders are that they are light and mineral-based. I use the lighter colours on my eyes and, for evenings, apply the dark purple or dark grey to the outer parts of my lash line with an angle brush. I also use it as a blush. I apply the light pink to the tops of my cheek bones and the darker pink as a blush. It looks really good.
A final note about how to purchase the product. DO NOT PAY FULL PRICE. Bella Pierre is sold in those booths in the middle of the mall. Every time I have purchased any of their products (I've also tried the Mineral Blush in Desert Rose, Mineral Powder, Vanilla Bean Lip Balm and the Make-up Primer), the salesperson drops the price considerably. This has happened several times at the Yorkdale booth and each time the salesperson tells me that they're the manager and that they are giving me a special discount but, because it keeps happening and because it's hard to believe that every employee is the manager, I'm convinced they're selling their products at a large markup.
