Good alternative to many brands.
it’s my go-to foundation at the mo, beating all my high end alternatives. Love the fact that it is less renowned yet does a good job on my skin, although now that rainy days has come it’s too drying on my skin.
This is the first mineral, powder foundation I have ever tried, and I fell in love with it! I have become frustrated with liquid foundations that cake, settle into fine lines, come off on your clothes, or simply don't last. This foundation gives me an evened skin tone, blurs imperfections, allows my skin to breathe, and lasts most of my day. I just wish it was easier to find, and it can be a bit pricey
I got sucked in by a free makeover and ended up buying more than I expected. A little does go along way. A few sweeps all over the face in a circular motion. You don't need too much. They threw in a free makeup brush but it was cheap quality and didn't last long. I ended up with the Foundation, blush, primer, and the 9 stack of eye shadows before I knew it. The foundation has lasted over the years.
I was skeptical with this being a line I had never heard of in the 10 years I have been using mineral makeup but decided to give it a try since the lady was so nice to me and I had nothing better to do while waiting for my boyfriend to shop for Christmas gifts.
She took off my makeup with the toner and put on the lightest (color) foundation anyone has ever used on me in my life. It looked good and felt good so I proceeded to purchase the foundation, the toner and 6 shadows as well as the foundation brush. Went home and followed exactly the steps I was told to follow (plus I have been wearing the mineral foundation for 10 years so figured there wasn't much to it). Lo and behold it did NOT feel like it did at the kiosk. It was very sparse, with hardly any coverage at all, no matter how much I tried to build up the product; so I went ahead and wore it for a full week with the sparse coverage. By 3 hours later, I had an oil slick on my nose and all the redness that was there before was rearing it's ugly head. I have never been so shiny on my nose before. I even tried using a concealer under the foundation to hide the redness but that didn't work either.
I figured OK, so the foundation doesn't work for me - I would continue to just use the eye shadows purchased. Figured out I didn't receive the correct eye shadows that I pointed to at the kiosk so I drove the 20 miles back to the mall and was treated TERRIBLY by the two ladies working the booth (one was the same very nice lady who sold me the product in the first place). All I wanted to do was exchange, not complain, not get mad - just exchange but after I was treated so bad, I have sent an email to the owner of the company and will NOT be a returning customer in the future.
I recently purchased the Bella Pierre Foundation. While on the more expensive side, I’ve always paid good money for concealer/foundation so I was comfortable with the price range of the cosmetics. After expertly being “made-up” at a kiosk I was pleasantly surprised. They were no visible signs of wearing a foundation, not under my eyes nor around the mouth area. I was quickly convinced to buy the foundation and give it a shot .
Once I got home, I tried the process myself. It didn’t quite come out as it did at the mall and I was just about ready to let it go. A couple of google searches though provided me with the proper application techniques: let the primer sit for a minute of 2 before adding the powder. And the powder: when they say “buff gently but go around the face a few times” – it does really mean just that: small amounts, and buff the area a few times to get your desired type of coverage (I recommend you do a youtube search to see the techniques). While I’ve always been a huge fan of the Dior products, for the last 3 weeks the application of my foundation has become:
- faster,
- more coverage (I would say flawless comes to mind),
- no mask look,
- natural look
This past weekend I went for a 50K bike ride on a humid day, topped off with a rain shower and 1 hour beach volleyball game. I was beyond amazed to see my foundation looked as if it was applied only an hour ago. I can’t say enough good things about the foundation.
So i was pretty skeptical about this makeup when i first came across it due to the fact that is soo CRAZY expensive, but i decided to take a chance and buy it anyways. This make up is AMAZING!! its probably the best makeup i have ever owned in my life!
Yes i know the price seems kind of crazy, but you spend $80 and you get 9 different colours of the shimmer powder.
Not only can this shimmer powder be used as eye shadow, but it is also, an eye liner, a lip gloss, a lip liner, blush, bronzer, body shimmer and even nail polish.
I paid $80 and recieved a tower of nine different colours plus he threw in 3 free colours, so i recieved 12 different colours.
Still i know, the price seems crazy, but this makeup is awesome, it lasts all day, and i've even fallen asleep with it on a few times and woke up and it was still on.
The only thing i recomend is that you get really good make up brushes to apply the make up with or else it will end up all over.
one of the coolest deals they have is 20 different colours of make up, all the brushes, clear nail polish and clear lip gloss, so you have everything you need to make the extra things.
anyways, its a very nice brand of make up, they also have a very nice foundation, that i almost bought but then i bought the maybalene mineral power instead and it's very similar.
all of bella pierre's make up is mineral make up, so definitely check it out.
I highly recomned this product, ladies, if you ever have the money, spoil yourself!!
you wont regret it!
