Yummy Alternative

Anyone who is lactose intolerant knows that it’s super unfortunate! Not that I can afford to get ice cream a lot anyways, but it would be a nice treat once in a while if I didn’t get sick from it! So when I saw this offer I jumped at the chance to try it, and I’m so glad I was chosen! I didn’t realize Cherry Garcia had chocolate pieces in it, I’m usually just a black cherry ice cream fan, but it was still tasty. I would definitely recommend!

Just as good

I love Ben and Jerry's ice cream and eat it at every opportunity, I'm so happy now that my grandma who is lactose intolerant can finally share this wonderful treat with me, and it's juat as good as the regular kind

Tasty Treat

I Love this ice cream, it always has so many ingredients in the ice cream so every bite is full of flavor but the tubs they sell are too small it's basically 1 tub per person

Great Snack

I got this item free with a coupon. I like the taste and texture but the tub of Ice cream is so small for the price you pay, I know it's worth it with all the ingredients in the Ice cream but I just wish they sold them in bigger tubs for a decent price. I would always buy it then

Des beaux gros morceaux de cerises

Tout d'abord, j'ai reçu ce produit gratuitement afin de le tester et donner mon opinion sur celui-ci. J'ai beaucoup aimé le fait que ce produit soit sans produits laitiers, car ainsi, il n'y a pas de lactose et je peux manger cette crème glacée sans avoir mal au ventre! Même si le produit est fait avec du lait d'amandes, pour ma part, je ne peux pas dire que j'ai remarqué une différence de goût. En effet, cette crème glacée goûte très bon! Elle contient de beaux gros morceaux de cerises et beaucoup de morceaux de chocolat (par contre, j'ai trouvé ces derniers un peu trop sucrés). Par contre, il faut noter que le produit est plus cher que les autres de la même marque et que le pot n'est pas très grand pour le prix...

A really delicious dairy-alternative ice cream!

This ice cream is sooo delicious. It is made with almonds instead of dairy. Usually I do not like the taste of almond milk, or any other almond dairy alternative, but this ice cream was so delicious! The almond flavor actually added to it a lot, and made it extra delicious. It also made it have a unique flavour. Also, I think it is important to add that even though dairy was replaced with almonds in this formula, creaminess was not at all sacrificed! Often almond milk, almond products etc. tastes watered down. This ice cream was very creamy!

I love the flavour cherry garcia. The chocolate chunks were great, and the cherries were so juicy. Yum!

Usually when I eat ice cream I feel very sick afterwards, so I am definitely sensitive to lactose. This ice cream did not make me sick at all. This is a great dairy alternative to those who are sensitive to lactose!

Really good for being dairy free!

I received this product for free, and boy am I glad I had the opportunity to try this! I’m not used to dairy free ice cream, but I’m always willing to try different things. I thought the taste was 10/10- tasted like it was the regular Cherry Garcia ice cream. Value is comparable to other Ben and Jerry’s ice cream- about 8.99. Would like the price to be a little lower, but overall for the quality and the dairy free health aspect, I’m very impressed. Would definitely recommend this to anybody who is looking for dairy free ice cream.

Super creamy!!

I love the original Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia and have been eating it for years! When I heard they were coming out with a vegan version, I just had to try it. I was pleasantly surprised that it was still creamy and had the delicious taste of Cherry Garcia (tons of chocolate & cherries) just in a vegan version. The almonds in the ice cream balance all of the flavours beautifully and I'm so glad that I took a chance on the vegan version. It's possible that it's my new favourite Ben & Jerry's flavour!

Overall, I would repurchase in the future but only when it's on sale. For a regular retail price of $7-10, it's inline with other non-dairy ice creams, but still a bit too pricey for me to purchase regularly.

I've never tried Ben and Jerry's ice cream before nor have I ever tried non-dairy ice cream before. I used to adore another brand's cherry and chocolate frozen yoghurt. Then I stopped being able eat dairy in the last year. So when I received the chance to try and review Ben and Jerry's Non-Dairy: Cherry Garcia for free through the Chick Advisor Product Review Club, I couldn't wait.

I love this ice cream. There are plenty of cherries and chocolate chunks. The texture is dense, rich, and super creamy. Right away I could taste the almonds, which is a huge bonus for me (I snack on almonds all the time and love the flavour here which only enriches the flavour of the cherries and chocolate). The product is not too sweet either so I was able to really savour it. I'd heard through the grape vine that with Ben and Jerry's products, a little goes a long way and this is absolutely true.

Now that I can't eat dairy, I think this is a great alternative product. It even tastes so much better than the cherry and chocolate frozen yoghurt I used to buy. I am sorely tempted to buy this product again. If any friends or family are looking for a non-dairy product where a little goes a long way, I won't hesitate to recommend. Especially because it's Fair Trade.
