I got this as part of a larger Benefit face kit. I love everything else in the kit, but I will never purchase the concealer
Pros:
- decent coverage
Cons:
- very thick in consistency
- looks fake
- the shades do not work with my skin tone (both alone or mixing shades)
Even though i had high expectations from this concealer and was at first a little bit disappointed by the results, i must say its not a bad product. It covers pretty well but is not strong enough if you have severe imperfections to cover. I find the texture to be a little bit greasy and i need to set it with powder.
For the price which is a little expensive its nothing to special. It made me break out everywhere on my face I put it around my nose, chin and red spots. As soon as I stopped using it they went away. Also it is oily and hard to cover up problem spots with and I have very combination skin.
This concealer works well. However, I find that it goes on a little too thick for everyday use. I mostly save it for nights out since it does not smudge or run. Since I find it clogs my pores, I probably will only buy it again if it goes on sale for a good price.
I tried this concealer a few years when I first started using Benefit products. Overall, it is a good product, covers well - it is a little thick, and sometimes maybe hard to blend it, but that is what you get with heavy duty concealers. It also comes in 3 shades, I believe, to match it to your skin.
It does last a long time, since you are using so little every time.
I am a big fan of Benefit concealers and Benefit items in general, so I would recommend this to anyone.
i don't find that this conealer is anything special. it is matte and heavy duty, good for concealing blemishes if you can find a shade to match your skin tone. it does a fine job at correcting and concealing under the eyes, very blendable too, but i do find that it can cake up over time and it really settles into fine lines. not worth the $, especially considering sonia kashuk makes a concealer palette for half the price that follows the same idea, only it does a waaaaaay better job.

This is the first high end concealer I have tried, and so far I'm not a fan. The creamy consistency of the product appeals to me, but that's about the only thing going for it.
It hardly coverd up anything, and it emphasized every last flake of dry skin I put it over. Mind you I do have fairly dry skin in the winter, so I might recomend this to someone with oily skin since it did stay in place all day, but it's definaty not a product for the dry skin folks. There is a colour range of 3 (light, medium, dark) and if your not one of them, it's virtually impossible to blend out (at least on dry skin).
So overall, love the feel, hate the rest.
I tried this concealer, convinced I would have another great Benefit experience... but it wasn't so.
It is simply too cakey. Way to cakey and unblendable.
I love their products but this one is a miss.
I bought this concealer after being fed up with my drug store brand liquid concealer.
While this stuff has full coverage I find it to be a bit cakey. It has a drying affect and if your like me (dry skin) it could end up making you look like a powdery caked mess=old lady. With that said I can only use this product if I apply a over abundant amount of facial moisturizer that then mixes with this concealer. I find this works better on top of a liquid concealer if you need more of a full coverage.
I absolutely adore Benefit as a brand but wish they could of made this less drying. Maybe a liquid boi-ing?
I still use it every now and then more so in the humid summer months. It does tend to bleed n clump up so its not something you can build up with.
This has too many negatives for me to suggest it to anyone. If you already use and like it more power to you but I see after reading a few other reviews similar to mine that I'm not alone!
