I really don't understand the hype

Don't get me wrong, I really like the Benefit brand and I love a few of their boxed blushes (namely Coralista, Bella Bamba, and Hervana). Dandelion, however, really has no colour payoff on my skin and I am quite fair. I do like the packaging and the colour is pretty in the box, but for the price (which is not cheap at all!) it does absolutely nothing as far as I'm concerned. Very disappointing.

Okay but not great

I received this as a gift and decided to give it a try. I have very mixed feelings on this. Some pros and cons :

Pros:
1) smell ! So so heavenly! Like all benefit products, this one smells so lovely which is a bonus for someone like me

2) comes with an applicator. So rare for a prestige product to come with an applicator these days! I don’t have to carry an applicator with me if I’m travelling!


Cons:

1) highlighter is too subtle - this could be a pros for someone who prefers that but I want a highlighter that pops my cheekbones. It doesn’t quite do that

Okay, but not ground breaking

I bought this before deciding to go cruelty-free, and I really wanted to like the product. A Benefit ambassador at Sephora sold me on it, but honestly, it did not do much in terms of being a highlighter, since it looked like nothing was there. This could be due to my fair skin tone, but regardless, I was disappointed. It worked far better as a dark circle concealer for under the eyes, at least.

It was too light for my skin tone. It was a very irredecent pink colour.its a lovely soft milled finish which glides very smooth on your skin. I adore the box and mini brush, benefit always make cute packaging.

I don't know if I just received a bad sample...but I was not impressed with the colour. It was more super pale white/pink and did not work at all as a blush on me. That said, I did not purchase the full size product.
