100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
This is a five, full size piece set of Benefit’s powders in a cutely decorated palette. There is a Tips and Tricks booklet inside for each of the shades. The packaging is super cute, but quite bulky with dancers who have the single box powder graphic as their torsos. Saying that, if you were to have the individual powders, each of those has their own bulky packaging, so this version is great to eliminate 5 giant boxes sitting in your stash.
It has a pretty nice mirror on the inside of the lid of the packaging and the bottom where the powders are come out so you can use the packaging to hold something on its own if you wanted. You can depot any of the powders to store in another palette if you wish too! The palette itself is made of cardboard and houses a mini brush, which is surprisingly better than most palette brushes, and the following powders:
Dandelion – Baby Pink Brightening Face Powder – (7.0g) *Light pink shade with light gold shimmer*
Hoola – Bronzing Powder – (8.0g) *Soft matte brown*
Rockateur – Famously Provocative Cheek Powder Blush – (5.0g) *Rose/gold shimmery shade*
Dallas – Outdoor Glow for an Indoor Gal Face Powder – (9.0g) *Light bronze/dusty rose shade*
Coralista – A “Rio” Pleasure Face Powder (8.0g) *Light peach/coral shade*
All of the blushes are flat/flush in the palette, except for Rockateur, which has geometric shapes and the word “Rock” on it. They all have a slight floral scent to them while in the palette, which does transfer when you apply the products. Overall, the powders come off quite sheer, but you can build them to the pigment you desire.
This seems like it would be a great way for a lighter skinned person to try out a range of Benefit’s powders. I say this because I don’t think that darker skin tones would see much payoff from the pigments that these provide in normal use. It is an exceptionally great value if you don’t already own any of these powders.
Also, there was a bit of a discrepancy with the Coralista shade. In this palette, it is more peach and coal, but the original boxed version is a pinky coral.
Great product and value! Heard some comments that the pigmentation isn't comparable to the full sized single versions but I disagree! The color is great and very much build-able to achieve desired effect.
For about the cost of 2 full size blushes you're getting FIVE plus a brush in this adorable palette. Benefit has released two palettes with these exact products previously but this is by far the most visually pleasing one and the first time they have released one with all full sizes. Their blush/bronzer formula is one of the best. They are pigmented, long wearing and easy to blend. I highly recommend this palette!
