90% OF CHICKS DIG IT
This product is pretty good. I like that it gives just a little bit of a highlight and not too much actual shimmer. I love the small packaging and the brush applicator. I put it over my brow, right under the corner of my eye and a little bit on my nose.
-great highlighter
-great to apply to cheek bones and whats left over on the bridge of the nose
-cool packaging
-good color
Yet another product from Benefit that really disappoints me. Over priced, overhyped, not worth a dime.
I bought a similar product by Stila, called All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer, which is double the size - for a mere $12 - at Winners, and which is absolutely amazing. Highbeam can't hold a candle to it, literally.
Once applied, this product doesn't do much, especially when compared side by side with the Stila product which I own. Swatched side by side, Stila definitely comes out on top. Even the texture of Highbeam can't measure up to the Stila product, which is super creamy, yet gel-like in consistency, fragrance free, and comes in many different tones. I bought my Stila in #1, which is exactly the same tone as Highbeam.
I have stopped buying ALL Benefit products after multiple disappointments. Don't bother wasting your money on this one. It's all marketing, and a lot of women being suckered into paying far too much for a tiny bottle of nothing.
I love this! It's a perfect, easy way to make you look healthy and give you a nice glow! I really like the way it's like a nail polish. Just dab like three dots onto your cheekbones and dab/pat away. This is especially nice in the wintertime - it gives you a healthy, dewy glow.
This little bottle packs a powerful punch! I LOVE this product. It adds such an illuminating and highlighting to your makeup routine. I love the way how it polishes my look and lasts well from day to night!
I'll admit, this product is wayyyy expensive at $26 at Shoppers Drug Mart. Though, it does do a good job! High Beam is an luminzer/highlighter that is applied to the face where light would naturally it, i.e. cheek bones, brow bones, bridge of the nose, cupid's bow - and anywhere else that you think you need a little oomph.
I like using this product during the winter when my skin usually looks a little blah. After applying this to my face (as well as the inner tear ducts of my eyes) I look fresh-faced and well-rested!
Be sure to blend high beam in properly, otherwise you will look streaky and your "highlights" fake!
I have used a number of highlighting products in the last few months. This one is the lightest, and while expensive, will probably last the longest since a little goes a long way. It is great to highlight around the eye area and at the cupid's bow of the lip - I think it makes you look instantly more awake and is a great lift for tired eyes. The luminescence is subtle enough that it can be used for daytime wear at the office.
I love love love this product! At first I was iffy about it because it was about $22 at Sephora but I gave in & bought it & I'm so glad I did. The first time I used it the nail polish brush was a little intimidating because I thought I would end up putting too much on but I only used a little bit & a little definitely goes a long way. I bought this about 6-7 months ago & have barely put a dent in it & I use it everyday it definitely lasts a long time. I use it to highlight my cheek bones, inner corners of my eyes, cupid's bow & under my eyebrows. It gives you face a subtle glow & it's great for waking up your face when you're tired. I highly recommend this!
This is $24 at Sephora. It is SO pretty! I was kinda ifffy when I bought it, like "ohh whatever it's just a little face thing". But yeah...it's not. It;s AMAZING.
So it comes in a nail polish - esque container. The bottle is really cute (like all benefit products). You take out the brush and take off a little product on the edge (like you would nail polish) and then put a dot or 2 on both cheek bones. Then you can use a blending wedge or your fingers to blend it in a "c" around your eye/to to your temple.
Other places to apply: above or below arch in eyebrow, cleavage, angel's bow,
High Beam makes your face illuminated. It is a pink shimmery liquid and it goes on and you can only see it in the light. If you use too much, it will make your face look oily. But that is easy to avoid.
I looove this so much, it is definately in my top 5 products!
It's a really nice pink undertone highlighter.
Just dap it on the areas you wanna highlight then blend it in.
It's not too dry or too creamy. perfect consistency.
Perfect highlight and sheen, doesn't make you look like you have oily skin or like you're sweating.
