Let me start off by saying that I've never been a drugstore makeup user (blame my mom), so to me, Benefit products seem like really good value. That said, if you're firmly in the "why spend money on something you're going to throw out in 3 months" camp - fair dues, I can totally see your point.

Roller Lash is quite possibly my favourite mascara ever. I was wary of using a curling mascara after trying Dior's version earlier this year. It didn't blow me away, and honestly, the curved brush just seemed baffling. I couldn't create results that really differed from using a normal brush, no matter how I twisted or turned the thing.

Not the case with Roller Lash. After a few tries, this mascara gave me the longest, curliest lashes I've ever had without extensions. I'm not a big fan of the spidery look, so it's important to find a formula that looks "clean" or somewhat natural. This is it. You can continue rolling the brush through your lashes to really build that curl, and often you don't even need to comb through to separate them after - though this will depend on how old the formula is.

So, the formula: like most mascaras, it does have a sweet spot. The first few applications might be a little more liquid than most of us prefer, and towards the end of its three months, it does get a little too sticky for me. This seems like the number one reason you might want to go for a cheaper (but equally awesome) drugstore mascara. But if you're curious about Roller Lash and willing to invest a little more, it's definitely worth a try. For the first time, I'll be re-purchasing instead of trying something new.

I have tried too many mascara so to list, this is my holy grail! No matter how many mascaras I try, I always go back to the roller lash.

I LOVE this mascara! It separates my lashes and makes them look super long. It also doesn't smudge. I just wish it was cheaper!

I've tried many mascaras but this one is my absolute favourite. Don't even need to curl my lashes and they stay curled up and perfect all day long. Id give it more stars if I could. Not a fan of the price but I will pay for this product again. nothing compares.

Finally a mascara that works for me. I have short lashes that point down and this mascara really helps keeping them up all day once they are curled. I got this mascara in april, and one thing that i noticed is that it did not change consistency since I used it first time. Love the brush and the definition it gives.

after using this all the time for a while now I have realized how much I absolutely love Benefit Roller Lash mascara and I know it's quite expensive and a few people have said that they wouldn't buy it because of the price but I think it is really worth the investment! You really notice the difference from your previous mascara when you first use this and with the two style brush you are able to build up length from the base of your lashes with the short straight part of the brush and then use the curved edge with more bristles to add volume for a full feathered long lash, it's honestly like magic! Benefit also said that if you use the Benefit They're Real mascara on top you can build up an amazing false lash look, the only down side to this is though that because this mascara is made for building up it doesn't harden and dry like other mascara which means it's super soft all day, quite clay like but it does mean you can build it up any time during the day! I haven't tried this mascara with an eyelash curler because it says you don't need one on the packaging but I wonder if it would make them better! I am almost finished this mascara and I'm excited to get my hands on a new one and maybe give They're Real a go on top too!

Looooove this mascara, lengthens my lashes super duper well. Keeps my lashes curled all day long.

I used to curl my eyelashes everyday, and I was very skeptical of this "magic" mascara. It really does work! It doesn't clp and curls my lashes making my eyes look more open. It's great.

At $31 CDN it pretty expensive but its the best formulation I've tried. Doesn't flake or get crispy. My new HG mascara, no more DIOR Show for me.
