Brilliant Primers

All benefit primers are fabulous and permanent staples of my makeup kit.

I absolutely love this primer. Another fantastic product from Benefit cosmetics that I can't do without. It is meant to be use on the lids for a primer as well as under the eye, too. It evens out the color and skin tone around the entire eye and makes your eyeshadow go on perfectly and last all day. This is a fantastic product!

Too thick

Really dislike this primer. I am not sure if I received a bad batch but it is just way too thick. It makes my makeup look cakey and is difficult to blend my makeup over top of. My skin looks dry and it emphasizes any fine lines on my skin.

Dont keep eyeshadow on lids all day

I am glad that I got this eye primer as a sample only because this does not work for me. I wore it under my favorite eyeshadow and when I went for my morning break at work, all my eyeshadow had creased on my lid.

I got a sample size of this in a Benefit makeup kit I received as a birthday gift.

Because I didn't get to choose my shade, it came in light/medium and it's definitely too dark. However, as long as I don't use it as an undereye primer and just use it on my eyelids, it's not too bad. I just blend it in and set it, and the eyeshadow covers it anyway.

Though this works well as an eyeshadow primer and definitely makes my eyeshadows last, I find that this is a bit drying on my eyelids. It's not terrible, but I've used other eye primers and they don't have that effect. I'd rather go with a product that doesn't cause any flaking at all, especially because this one is more expensive.

This is a great primer in terms of lasting ability, but if you have dry skin around your eyes, it's not the one I'd recommend.

I highly recommend this big time I have been using it this for 3 years now and I LOVE IT!!!!
this is a must have i wear it on the weekend and from 8am till 10pm my eye shadow did not more it did not crease AT ALL and I LOVE IT it is so worth the money.
BEST THING EVER

I had heard such good things about this product and normally i am all over anything benefit puts out so i was excited to try this shadow primer. to my dismay even though it did cover nice and looked great to start. my shadow creased and did not stay and my concealer looked cakey. this may work well for teens but if you have so much as 1 line or wrinkle this will make them stand out.

I usually use the urban decay primer but I thought I would try something new and this was not a good choice. It seemed to be ok at first but after awhile it didn't work at all. My shadow creased like crazy it wouldn't even last the day when I have tried urban decay and too faced and both I can sleep in my makeup and it's still on good. Maybe the formula doesn't work with me and maybe other people like this primer but I would not re purchase this or finish the one I have

pretty pricey, but totally worth it. Some may think a primer for your concealer is a little excessive, however those (like me) who suffer from extremely dark circles will understand the need. Sometimes I use it without a concealer on top, it's just that good, this is the most important item in my beauty routine. I use the light one, absolutely love it

Love this product from Benefit. I apply it before I put on my concealer and eyeshadow. Then I apply them over it. It helps my makeup stay put way longer. It is like a primer.
