This is my new go to. I have very fair skin so sugar bomb is much more than blush. With this palet I can quickly do my cheek bones and highlife my eyes to give my face a natural glow. A little eye liner and mascara and I'm out the door! I'm not a huge fan of the packaging though. This is an issue I often have with benefit. I love the products but the package sucks. The mirror is useless and the brush is an odd shape that leaves streeks so I ended up using my own. I also had to keep the disposable plastic inside the box to keep the brush from damaging the powder.

Really sweet blush /bronzer if your skin is fair to medium.

This was the first Benefit blush I ever tried. It is very pretty on. I always tried to aim more toward the darker swirl so I figured the next Benefit blush I would just get a solid color. I think all of there blushes are awesome.

Best BB cream I have ever tried ! Smells great and really easy to apply. Keeps my make-up in place and gives me a natural glow !

This blush swirls together to give my cheeks a nice glow! I have fair skin and it works great! It also smells wonderful but does not irritate my sensitive skin! Use it with my own round blush brush not the one that comes with it!

The biggest faux-pas my girls make is buying the same blush – we can’t all rock the same colours now can we? But these days they’re getting feistier and the other day, one quipped back. She so keenly pointed out that there are swirled palettes and pearly multicoloured balls. Sadly, she is right. Happily, that doesn’t mean I’m wrong.


I truly believe that if you try to please too many, you can’t fully satisfy one. Put another way, I’d rather find ONE colour that delivers a head-on flush versus a mixture of colours that give a muddled pink.

Take Benefit’s newest blush. The square boxed powder is divided into peach, rose, pink, and plum. The blending of all four is supposed to deliver a “delicious sugar rush” but the predominating pigment on my skin tone is shimmering adolescent pink. I prefer the plum and peach, but then I’m only using 50% of a product.


I think I will stick to my single colour palettes, and mix-and-match those as I please. And to follow the negative with a positive, I really love Benefit’s Dandelion, Hoola and Georgia.

Really not a fan of this product at all.

The first reason being that a lot of benefit cheek colors are fragranced. Absolutely unnecessary and very irritating to the skin. Synthetic fragrances can make anybody - even somebody with normal, clear skin - break out in hives, whiteheads, painful lumps under the skin, additional blackheads, etc. This can wind up leaving scars.

The other reason being is the price. Seriously? Benefit has some of the most highly priced, highly over-rated products on the market. I can think of several which are really NOT good, and most are LOADED with TALC. Zit-city. Talc is a comedogen. When a company expects women to pay that much, they better be giving us something of quality, not a product full of cheap fillers and toxic perfumes that are going to wind up making us look worse than we did to begin with. Makeup is supposed to *enhance* women's features, not detract from them.

Why anybody would pay this much for THIS blush is absolutely beyond me. There are far better ones out there for much less, or only a $ or 2 more. I own both types. My best is actually one I made myself with pigments, mica, silk & pearl powders, and other ingredients. It ended up costing me less than $2 in wholesale products to put that together, and I've got enough to last a couple of years at least. Even benefit doesn't use those quality ingredients. They are all about the fartsy-names and cutesy-packaging. I had been dying to try them for years as I thought there *must* be something to their stuff if so many women were raving about it. And once I had, I quickly found out I had been missing nothing at all. Much like high-school, popularity means nothing when it comes down to it.

I was a little confused by this product at first. I thought that you got to chose which shade you want to use (because it comes as a quad), but according to its instructions, you're just supposed to grab all the colors in one go and swipe it on your cheeks. I really like this blush because it gives a nice, natural hue. I find it a little too sparkly for my taste though, because I feel like sparkles give away that you have blush on (who doesn't like to pretend that they don't need make-up?).

Overall, it's a great product, but I definitely wouldn't use the brush provided. Oh and it smells nice too!
