First time user and hooked on this mascara. Goes on smoothly without clumps and looks great all day!!

I got this mini sample from Sephora as my birthday gift, and it's amazing! It leaves my eyelashes full, defined and no crunchy/clumps. So magical and easy to use. Love it!

This mascara made my lashes look AMAZING-better than any other mascara I've tried. However, it dried up extremely quickly, and for the price, I would want it to last at least an average length of time.

I have tried many brands of mascara, and in the case of Benefit's "They're Real" mascara I had a quite different pre- and post-use opinion.

When I first opened the bottle and drew out the wand I did not like the bristly look of the brush. It looked like a thistle to me, and for someone who is used to plushy wands I worried that I would hurt my eye during application. It's also got this crazy spiky tip that looks very intimidating.

So obviously, I had to test it out.

Not only does this mascara wand NOT hurt my eye at all (not that it was soft, but somehow in the way it's engineered not all of the bristles touch the root of your lashes so I think it keeps the pokier bits a little farther away?), but it really does find every single lash that you have and amplifies it to the max.

I was shocked at how natural the effect was while still being a bold mascara. But even better than this is that due to the staggered layering of the bristles I had hardly any transfer to my lash line - this is always a problem with other mascaras for me. It was such a clean finish, I was amazed! The only downside I noticed was that lower lash application was perhaps a little goopy, but nothing that a lash comb won't quickly fix. It also wears soft and flexible on the lashes, no crunchiness at all.

I don't usually spend big bucks on mascara, but this is one that I'd splurge on when the occasion allows.

This is the best mascara I've ever used and I am definitely a mascara girl. I've tried many many different brands from covergirl and maybelline to lancome and dior, and this is the first time I have come across non-waterproof mascara that won't run or smudge on my oily eyelids, provides instant length and fullness, AND keeps the lashes separated.

My absolute favorite mascara. When I could no longer find my previous brand, I asked the cosmetician what SHE was wearing, and she told me They're real...I fell in love with it. The technique is a little different in that you apply normally, and then a second coat with the end of the wand vertically...a little longer, but well worth the time for the incredible lashes!

I tried this out as the sample size and I really liked it. It wouldn't be something I would use everyday as it was a lot harder to remove than regular mascara. It does really make your lashes stand out and seem a lot thicker. I did notice some clumping with it. It is a bit on the pricey side. But if you're going for effect this is the one.

I have long eyelashes that naturally have no curve, what so ever. Although I try to give them a little upwards curve with my eyelash curler I find, usually, once I apply mascara all my efforts go to waste since the heaviness of the mascara weighs down on my straight and stubborn eyelashes.

Although They're Real mascara is a little on the pricey side of life, I have fallen in love with it. It's light so it does not weigh down on my eyelashes, goes on smoothly and does not clump. And it actually, somehow, makes your eyelashes look drastically longer.

I am a fan!

I received this as a free gift for my birthday from Sephora. I have it on now and I have to say that it's not bad. It lengthens and doesn't smear.
